Great headlamp and here is 7 reasons why
I LOVE THIS HEADLAMP. i dont even know where to begin about it. it is all i ever wanted in a headlamp. first off, it is orange and i LOVE the color orange. i declared that summer 2023 was a "neon orange summer" and this just fit right in, although i did not purchase it until december of 2023. i guess you could say i just couldnt start off the new year without it. since summer i have been slowly converting all my accessories to the color of orange. secondly, i would like to direct your attention to the emergency whistle section. thankfully i have never had to use the whistle for its manufactured purpose but i can ASSURE you that all my roommates are aware that it works GREAT. next, lets focus on the green light. now, i do not hunt, nor plan too. BUT this green light looks so COOL. that is all. fourth, the headband fits very comfortably on my forehead and i do not notice any additional sweat being released from the sweat glands on my forehead when i wear this headlamp compared to when i do not. fifthly, the back flashing red light makes me REALLY stand out in a crowd. i recently attended an event with over 20,000+ attendees and while i did not wear the headlamp there, i know i would have been the show stopper with that efficient and good-looking backlight. oh and it has a strobe feature too? count me in! sixthly, the white light has 5 settings. seems to work fine. i would not know as i tend to use the color options more. now time for reason number seven, speaking of color options, lets discuss the red light feature. i could NOT speak more highly of the red light feature. it is PERFECT. i sleep in a bunk bed and a reading light is not always very achievable to place on my top bunk. this is when the headlamp comes in GREAT USE. i consider myself an avid journalist and i use this red light feature primarily to do such. it is wonderful as it does not strain my eyes, nor wake up my roommates. i will stop here as i have listed 7 reasons why you NEED to buy this headlamp and seven is a lucky number. if i was you, i would waste no more time looking up "best headlamps" on amazon and just purchase this. have a wonderful day:) #ilovemyheadlamp

great economy light, very bright and lots of features
This is a very good economical option for a headlamp. I have used it in the garage, taking animals out at night, and getting to hunting locations in the dark. Offers multiple color & white light options as well as strobe. I can't say how durable it will be over time but I have used it a LOT so far and it functions perfectly and has held up to riding in a hunting bag and being tossed around. It doesn't seem to use much battery either as I haven't changed them yet.

bright, inexpensive, multipurpose headlamp
I have lots of headlamps. Petzl has always been my favorite brand because they are sturdy, reliable, bright, and comfortable. I love my old Tikka with white and red LEDs, mainly because the red is much brighter than most other headlamps and doesn't interfere with night vision. Most people don't realize that green light doesn't bother night vision either and is much better for walking at night because the human eye sees green light better than red. I was in search of a white and green headlamp when I came across this EverBrite headlamp. Most headlamps that come with other colors have RGB. I don't like blue light because I think it interferes too much with night vision, so I liked that this Everbrite came with just red and green. The white is plenty bright, the red is at least as bright as my Tikka, and the green is probably twice as bright as the red. The headband is comfortable and retains its size while also being fairly easy to adjust. The light settings and buttons are straightforward. I can't speak to its durability since I have only had it a couple of weeks. I have not tested the run times either. As far as the controls, they started in the right direction by having a dedicated button on the left for the main white CREE LED and the dozen or so smaller white LEDs and a separate button on the right for the smaller LEDs, which include about 8 red and green LEDs. My only complaint, and the reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because the button that controls the red and green LEDs also controls the smaller white LEDs, which means you have to cycle through the white to get to the red or green, which then messes with your night vision. The left button already controls the CREE and the smaller white LEDs, so why not have the left button for white only and the right button for red and green only? Go figure. Anyhow, it was well worth the $16.

Great illumination, Light weight
Price was good, looked nice, many nice reviews, really light weight. My complaint is not with the brightness, but the fact that if you want to use the red lens for night work, (IE, star gazing), you first have to turn on a white light. This ruins the night vision for about twenty minutes. Don't know why since they have two switches, that one isn't for white lite and one for red lite. Liked the green light also. All three colors had good illumination. If the night vision item isn't a big deal, this is a really good headlamp to have. I returned mine so I can not comment on the battery life. Update: Received a response from EverBright. Really impressed by their quick reply, they made some great suggestions and mentioned they have a new product coming out soon that may be a great solution to my complaint. The EverBright team seems to be on top of things, and trying to deliver what the consumer wants. Feel really good about continuing doing business with them. Can't wait to see their new products.

Comes in handy!
Mostly used for night vision. My number one con is the low, medium, and high intensity options are not applicable to red or green light modes. Only the white light has the intensity options. However, I simply use the back red light when I need a low red light intensity option. As for the need to cycle through the front main light to get to the red and green modes, I do exactly as others have suggested and press it against my thigh as I cycle through. This is not a $75 piece of headgear. It is a powerful and handy budget-friendly headlamp. Other pros include the headband being washable, the headband being adjustable for tightness (i like it secure, but not squeezing to cause a headache), it is lightweight (big bonus if wearing for long periods)

Great Light
This is a very nice headlamp. I am a hunter and this light has pretty much every feature I look for. It has a very bright high beam with an extremely long range of illumination on the full bright setting. This bright setting has two modes, one with a focused beam and decent peripheral lighting, and a second that is just the focused beam. One of my favorite features is the dual operational buttons, eliminating the need to click through all the many modes. One button controls the bright white lights, and the other controls the flood light and the two night light features. As a hunter, I love having both red and green lighting to avoid upsetting your night vision. Both of these colored lights are bright enough for use in a ground blind or looking through a day pack in the dark, and they are also bright enough to use at walking speed on the trail or path to your stand or blind. If you are a jogger or walk your dog on the streets at night, the rear red light on the headband is a nice feature if road traffic is present. Haven't had this in use long enough to judge its durability, but it seems well built, overall. My only knock is the 45 degree rotating feature is not especially tight, and I wonder if it will loosen too much with use.

Think twice before you buy
If you are looking for a white light high quality LED, this is it. Every corner of this product talks quality. But if you are looking for a red light LED that preserves your night vision at night, then this is a bad choice. I bought this headlamp because of the red light. I wanted to start observing the night sky so I purchased this headlamp hoping the red light will be able to help me see thing while not ruining my night vision. HOWEVER, that's a big however, there is no single button to turn on and off red light alone. You have to go through white, red, green cycle, in this order, every time. This switch pattern made it hard to put the headlamp to actual use. Yes, on paper, you have all the fancy functions, 3 different light color, and 7 different modes. But if you have to see white light before you can see red, your night vision is ruined. Some people may say you can look away or just cover the light while switching it to red. Okay, that works most of the time, but if you make one mistake, your night vision is ruined. It can be worse. If you hangout with people who do astrophotography, one accidental white light can ruin everyone's picture. You don't want to be "that guy"
