A: The Avaya 1408 is a digital phone, so they do not use PoE.   Typically the 1408 will be powered by a switch (line powered).

**Q: Does this come with the power cord?**
A: That really depends on who you buy it from. If you buy from Voiplink, a power cord will be included. Voiplink always includes them with these units.
