Wow! These pannier bags from Rhinowalk are the BEST I have ever owned! From the reviews I was expecting a nice set of bags (I bought a pair of them). However, from everything I see, these bags are topnotch from top to bottom in every way! If you are looking for an excellent set of panniers, look no further! These panniers from Rhinowalk are the best I have ever owned! A couple weeks ago, I purchased a set of Rhinowalk panniers for my new bike. I love them. After receiving them and seeing the high quality of the Rhinowalk panniers, I decided to buy this set for my wife. I bought the Rhinowalk waterproof panniers for a couple different uses. My first and primary use was to commute to and from work. My wife and I live about fifteen miles from work and I knew that I wanted high quality panniers that were waterproof for our commute; just in case we got caught in the rain. We bring my MacBooks (laptop) to and from work each day and need to know that it will be dry and safe during my commute. We also wanted waterproof panniers so that we could have dry clothes to change into. Our second use for the Rhinowalk waterproof panniers was to keep my gear dry on bike campouts. We have yet to use the bags for this purpose, however, after owning them and testing them, I know they are up to the challenge! Let the adventures begin! Here is a more objective review: • The panniers arrive very quickly! I was so surprised when the bags arrived two days after I ordered them. Thank you Rhinowalk! • Every component of the bag is top quality! My family and I live active lifestyles: biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, waterskiing, and scuba diving to name a few. Each of these activities requires a fair amount of gear. We want to enjoy ourselves while doing all of these activities and that generally means high quality gear; this is generally very expensive! We own several waterproof bags; many of which cost well over $250 each! The Rhinowalk waterproof panniers the deal of a century! They are top quality, yet very affordable! We own many different waterproof bags; each for the different activities listed above. We bought those bags from the largest, most reputable manufactures and have been very pleased with the quality and durability of those bags. I can assure you that the Rhinowalk waterproof panniers are of top-notch quality and construction! • The panniers are constructed out of durable waterproof material. All of the seams are sealed and waterproof. • Roomy! The panniers have one large pocket that could either be used for large volume storage or could be segregated with dividers to carry several smaller items. As a bonus improvement over the other set of panniers I bought, these also have two mesh pockets and one zippered pocket on the inside of the bag. • Solid construction: the straps and buckles are of superior quality. The buckles fit together perfectly and securely. • Safety oriented: Rhinowalk has placed highly reflective material on the front and back of each pannier; these are perfectly placed to grab the attention of any vehicle that you meet or comes up behind you on the road. On the sides of each pannier is a “Light Hook” on which you can attach lights for an amazing amount of side-visibility! Additionally the bags I bought are bright yellow for increased visibility! • Convenient: The front of the pannier has a medium zippered pocket that is very convenient for small valuable items that you wish to quickly access! I love the shoulder strap that comes with each pannier. After you arrive at your destination, simply attach the shoulder strap and off you go on your adventures for the day! • Waterproof: In addition to the high quality waterproof material that the panniers are constructed from, the panniers close by rolling the top of the panniers and then buckling them down. This is a tried and true closure technique use by waterproof bags the world-over! It is very reliable. I have not had the opportunity to ride in the rain with these panniers. However, before trusting my $3,000 laptop to ride in the rain, I tested each of these panniers by filling them with paper and then continually running water from my garden hose on the bag for several minutes. Not a drop of water got inside! I love these panniers! Now all we need is a couple Rhinowalk bike trunk bags and we could head off on a camping adventure!!!!

Update: I've had a rhinowalk waterproof bicycle pannier for over a month now and just got another one which I've had for a week. I can say it's been a very durable and practical bag. Easy to use and open. It's clips connect securely to my bicycle rack and allow for easy attachment and removal. Having two gives me storage space for over 50L of stuff. I plan to use these on an upcoming bicycle tour in the Netherlands. Overall great product and would recommend. They're at a great price too! Original review: After having the rhinowalk waterproof bicycle pannier for three days now I am enjoying it's convenience. I've been using it on my bike for going back and forth from college. It clips onto the bicycle securely and easily. It can be removed just as easily, though I have never worried that it would fall off during riding. I did have one small problem with the lever that locks the sliding clips on the top. It unlocks and allows the one clip to slide around. I have to adjust it every so often to get it to the right spot. The material is very waterproof. It seems to be very durable as well. It has two sets of buckles so that it can be rolled and closed in two different ways. One way is useful for when you have less stuff and it can be more compact, while the other way allows for more stuff to be inserted and also creates a handle you can carry it with. The size is very proportionate to an average size bicycle. I am using it on a 26" Roadster style bicycle. It includes a clip on strap that allows for ease of carrying off of the bike. It has an inside mesh pocket that zips and to smaller open top mesh pockets that you can fit a charger cable in for a laptop or a small notebook and pens. For some reason the manufacturer has chosen to put reflective material on this pouch inside the bag. Maybe it is for ease of finding the pouch when it is dark (?). On the outside of the bag are reflective strips on each side of the bag so they can be seen if the bag is placed on the left or right side of the bicycle. There's a waterproof zippered pocket on the outside that is big enough for a large notebook, a book, and still room to spare. The stitching on the bag seems to be very well done. No loose threads. Also, the straps are folded over on the end so that the buckles can't slide off, like some cheap bags have. The bottom of the bag looks to be durable and wear resistant. Cons: -clip moves sometimes without meaning too. -opening style can be a bit difficult to get in and out of if you need frequent access. Pros: -attractive bag -very waterproof and durable -strap makes it easy to carry over the shoulder. -pockets allow for some organisation. -buckles are thick plastic

Let me start by saying, I’ve been a fan of Rhinowalk panniers for a while now. They’re tough, durable, and handle the elements like a champ. I’m not shy about riding through heavy rain, and these bags hold up great, keeping my gear dry and secure. That’s a big deal for someone who relies on their bike in all kinds of weather. Now, here’s where things get tricky. I bought one of these bags about a year and a half ago, and it was impressively spacious—it carried odd-shaped items with ease and had room to spare. Naturally, I figured ordering another would be a no-brainer. But when this new one arrived, I noticed right away it was significantly smaller, even though the size listed seemed similar when I placed the order. It’s frustrating that there’s no standard sizing across these bags, especially since both panniers are from Rhinowalk, albeit from different vendors. That lack of consistency is a letdown for someone like me who depends on reliable gear. That said, the quality and performance of the bag are still solid. It’s water-resistant, rugged, and gets the job done—just not with the same capacity I was expecting. For that reason, I’m giving it 4 stars. Great bag, but Rhinowalk needs to step it up with a standardized sizing system to avoid disappointing loyal customers like me.

Currently about half the price of Ortlieb Back-Roller Classic. I've compared the two and found no functional or quality differences. I've used these packed to the gills on multiple multiday trail tours (KATY, OTET, C&0 Towpath, NCR) and they perform like champs. Mounting mechanism is solid, generous storage, and closure system keeps everything nice and dry. Skip Ortlieb and have a nice dinner or two with the savings.

These are FANTASTIC!!! I have ridden with them through rough terrain, torrential downpours etc and they have held up to all of it. No leaks, no tears, extremely durable. They hold a great deal of gear (enough for a week of camping). I would recommend these to anyone who needs durable and user friendly panniers!!!

Seguro pedaleando. Cuando me di cuenta regresé. Por fortuna seguía ahí. Volví a recogerla. Y apretarla lo más que pude. En el Siguiente tope volvió a salirse.

This is a well made product. I read the comments before I bought but must say i have had no problems. Used for 2 weeks now. Rain, shine and windy conditions. All ok. Zips where said to be an issue. So i have rubbed a bit of wax on them and no problems. Stiff at first. Space wise good. Uniform and shoes one side, lunch, coat and bike kit in other as I have 2. Plenty of room to expand. Pockets for my keys and phone inside. Big enough for laptop but due to vibration on bike, I wouldn't use this for transporting it. Easy to fold over and clip closed with the expanders. As you can see in the pictures, fits a square frame as well if you take the gray insert out. These do move left and right to help fit on bike. Pull handle to unclip. Very easy. Secure at bottom with the moving rotating arm. In all perfect for what I need. Helps with visabilty as well with the yellow. Wipe clean.
