Urban Platter Korean Style Kimchi Fermented Nappa Cabbage, 350g [Raw,Powered by Bombucha]

I am not much of a review person but for this, i just hAd to leave a review. I havent had kimchi before, (but loved the idea of it) so i was a little apprehensive while buying this but I couldn't have been more glad I did. The packaging was great and there were no leaks. It said to open over a sink and i did, but nothing erupted coz i opened it very slowly. Asa i opened it, the smell that wafted was beautiful! Not at all pungent. It smelled amazing. And it tastes even better!! The cabbage is crunchy and well fermented. The taste is a little more sour than i thought(mind you I've never had kimchi before) but it just goes so prefectly well. I just wish it were a little more spicy. That's all. But otherwise, a good buy. Def gonna buy more. Highly recommended to atleast give it a try Once.

There was no seal packing on the bottle and it was leaking already when it arrived! It opened instantly as if it was pre opened! A lot of bubbles and froth were coming out as if spoilt.A pungent smell was also coming out rather than the mouth watering, fermented pickle smell , typical of good kimchi! Completely inedible, money put to sheer waste! Couldnt return it because my little daughter soiled the thermocol packing immediately! So v v bad! I felt like vomiting..

Ive never had kimchi before..but have tried kimchi noodles before. It tastes like cabbage achar of sorts. So Im not going to comment too much about it. It tatmstes decent..like how preserved spiced vegetables tastes. Sharp, sour and salty. Will taste good in a sandwich.. The bottle had leaked and it smelt really bad when I got it. I think its the leaked product in the bag it came in that went bad, because the kimchi inside the bottle was fine. Do work on the packaging.

This is one heck of a kimchi! It tastes organic and rightly fermented fresh out of the packet, it tastes exactly what i imagined kimchi would be like!!!!! Brought my imagination to life!!! Ofcourse it's not the Korean kimchi but the taste and quality makes it super close comparison that of an original kimchi. I love eating it with rice and noodles gives me the perfect crunch and tangyness! It came in super sealed packet so five stars for the packaging!! K drama lovers who have always craved kimchi should definitely give this a try!!! It does not disappoint. I will definitely buy again.

I received this kimchi the day after I placed the order. When the delivery person handed me the box I knew it was the kimchi before even checking the label because I could smell it. When I opened the box, sure enough most of the liquid from inside the bottle has leaked and no ice pack was kept inside to keep it cold during shipping. I just had it with some plain rice for lunch and the flavor was pretty close to Korean kimchi! A bit tangy which could be because it was not kept cold so hopefully the flavors will settle as I store it in the fridge. I would order this again given that there are currently no other sellers of kimchi in India that I know of. But hopefully they improve on their delivery process!

This is an acquired taste, not everyone is going to like it. But I did like it. Luckily there were no spills from the jar , which was something I was concerned about after taking a look at a few reviews but since then they've changed there packaging it seems. Overall , I liked it. Will I buy it again? Maybe not. Only because it was too sour for my preference and not tangy but I'm sure it tastes exactly like authentic Korean kimchi. I'll say it once again , not everyone is going to appreciate the taste but that's not the fault of the person who formulated the product.

This was a reorder but not impressed with the quality/taste. The first time I ordered the kimchi was fresh, juicy and spicy. This time around it was almost dry, no spice and definitely looked not fresh!

We love Kimchi and would have been a faithful customer of your company, but this Kimchi that came was old and rotten, I make Kimchi so I know how it should taste and smell like. Our family is crazy about Korean Kimchi that is the reason I was so excited but sadly we threw it away in the garbage, could not even taste more than half a spoon. Please try to make authentic Kimchi, and do pack it with dry ice so that it stays fresh! Sadly disappointed ! shampa mum

Ce produit doit être réfrigéré en tout temps alors si vous habitez loin de l'Inde, je ne vous le conseille pas. Ils mettent des petits Ice pack dans le colis mais si la livraison est longue, ils vont dégelé et le produit va gonflé et ne sera plus au frais. Je doute que je l'ai reçu encore bon. Pour le prix, la quantité est minime. Sinon, le kimchi goûte très vinaigré (je ne sais pas si c'est normal ou c'est à cause qu'il a réchauffé dans le transport). Sinon, j'ai reçu le.produit en avance (même si sa prit 2 semaines), c'est le bon produit.
