Burt's Bees Mama Body Oil with Vitamin E, 100% Natural Origin, 5 Fluid Ounces

This Burt’s Bees Mama Belly Oil with Vitamin E has been a total lifesaver through my pregnancy (and now heading into these final weeks with our little guy on the way). I started using it around 12 weeks when my bump really popped, and it’s kept my skin so soft and hydrated—no dryness, no itchiness, even as I’ve grown like crazy. The sweet lemon oils absorb super quick without any greasy feel, and has a subtle citrus scent. t’s fresh and uplifting, not overpowering at all during those queasy days. I’ve lathered it on my belly, hips, and thighs twice a day after showers, and my skin feels great so far. No stretch marks yet (fingers crossed!), and it’s 100% natural ingredients make it feel safe and gentle for baby too—no weird chemicals.

Alright so I have really dry skin and I always had trouble keeping my face from flat out rotting out from dryness (TMI but sorry its important). My sister use to have one of these in her room and she would let me borrow it from time to time and it was amazing so I decided to buy one for myself. I will go over the pros and cons below: PROS: ~ Because it has this oil base when I put it on my skin it is so soothing! Idk, if this is recommended but sometimes I put the body oil in the fridge for a few minutes to make it cool and when I put it on it has this amazing feeling. ~ a few drops works a long ways: Every night I would put 3 drops in my hands and rub it around my face and it easily does the job of completely moisturizing my whole face. There are many times where I would wake up and my face would still feel moisturized from the day before. ~ the scent of this is amazing. It smells like a combo of lemonade and honey. ~Adding on to a few drops works a long ways. I have used 3 drops every night for about half a year now and Im barely 1/5 done with the small bottle. If you follow my routine this small bottle will easily last you over a year. CONS: ~ the packaging it came in was absolute wackness. Wrapping a thin layer of plastic around the bottle is not a good idea. ~ always keep the bottle upright. Due to the oil nature of the moisturizer it some how leaks a lot. There's really not that many cons about the product its pretty amazing. A 10/10 good buy.

I love using body oils to moisturize my skin, especially when I don't have time to slather on and rub in lotion. I really like the Burt's Bees products so decided to give this a try. I do like the scent, it is a fresh lemony citrus. Because it is a stronger scent it can be your "perfume" for the day, you cannot mix it with another perfume or scent as it does not mix well. As I often prefer to top my oil with a scent I found this to be a bit of a downer. The oil combination is nice, it goes on well and does moisturize for the entire day. It is not over oily or super sticky. Because of the fact that it is a realtively small bottle for the price I also consider that a bit of a down side.

Absorbs well. No weird smell.

Update: 4 weeks postpartum and I can confirm - no stretch marks on my belly! I’ve used this through my whole pregnancy and my belly still looks good at almost 39 weeks. The oil feels so nice on my itchy skin. The only downside is it makes a bit of a mess, but worth it to feel good!

This is my favorite body oil. I put it in my baths. It absorbs into the skin nicely. The smell is gentle and sweet. Addictive really.

I started using this amazing Nourishing Oil when I was 19 weeks pregnant. I'm on my 38th week now and no stretchmark at all!! My mom had stretchmarks and although they say it's on your genes, I'm very happy I don't have it yet. It smells really great, not too strong for a sensitive nose of pregnant lady. Because I apply this oil more often on my belly than on other body parts, I actually noticed that during my pregnancy, my belly has the best looking skin compared to my legs, arms etc. On my 2nd bottle now and will definitely continue using it!

Burt's Bees Mama Bee - Body Oil mit Vitamin E ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Produkt. Ich habe mich bisher mit Pflegeölen sehr schwer getan und mochte sie einfach nicht. Sie klebten und hinterließen ein unangenehmes Gefühl...... Aber nicht so mit Burt's Bees Mama Bee - Body Oil mit Vitamin E. Es ist angenehm leicht zu verteilen, zieht gut ein und hinterlässt ein angenehmes Hautgefühl, nichts klebt und das beste ist der wunderbare zitronige Duft. Ich könnte den ganzen Tag meine Nase da hinein stecken. Es erinnert an Sommer und kühle Softdrinks mit Zitrone. Einfach zum Verlieben. Ich kann dieses Produkt wärmestens Weiterempfehlen und werde es weiterhin nutzen. Die normale Body Lotion müssen jetzt die anderen Familienmitglieder aufbrauchen ;-) Eines muss noch erwähnt werden, es pflegt die Haut wunderbar und ich bin überzeugt, dass meine hässliche Knienarbe schon ein bisschen besser aussieht als vorher. Ich bin überzeugt, es hat sich mit der Verwendung von Burt's Bees Mama Bee verbessert. Daher sicher auch "Mama" Bee ;-) kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass es auch hervorragend bei Schwangerschaftsnarben und zur Vorbeugung von Schwangerschaftsnarben hilft. Einfach TOP!!! Kann man beruhigt kaufen, Der Preis ist für ein gutes Körperöl meines Erachtens im Rahmen. Man kauft es ja nicht jede Woche, da es sehr ergiebig ist.
