Secret Santa pressie
Got this for a work colleague who's a sailor as a Secret Santa, was so happy to see his reaction along with my other colleagues, lovely wee sextant although I have no idea how it works or how good it actually it is, it just felt really really lovely

No box & numbers not good
Bought this as a present. Only discovered that it doesn't come in a box (only a mass of bubble wrap) by searching the description to the end (you need to click on the more info and the fact that there's no box is there at the bottom.) What's worse is that the "engraved numbers" are "painted" with black, and it's not a particularly accurate job. It looks like the painter gave up on the will to live halfway through doing it. As for its sturdiness and accuracy, only time will tell.

This sextant is intended as a gift. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the instrument and cannot fault it in price or quality.
