I installed this Cruise Control on my 2019 GMC Canyon, 2WD, 2.5 Liter. There are a couple of youtube installation videos that show the installation (in general). You will need to tap into the vehicle wiring in at least one location and optionally more locations. You will need to solder these connections or use Posi-Taps. I used the Posi-Taps for the first time on this project and they worked fine. I used the 20-22 ga. Posi-Taps available on Amazon. You will need to determine the size of Posi-Taps for your vehicle. I work on a lot of things and I'm going to put this installation in the moderate to difficult category. The directions are not explicit and assume your knowledge and experience are pretty high. Accessing wiring and electrical connections under the dash are physically difficult and the spaces are small. For the DYI people, the youtube videos are basically mandatory. Watch them. So far, this cruise control has worked as advertised and I recommend this product.

The product itself is amazing. It works as good as factory cruise. Smooth engaging when set and no problems with the BCM. This is a great product HOWEVER...the installation instructions are horrible. You cannot install this with their instructions. This job is NOT for someone that has no knowledge of autos. Check Youtube for the instructions. Also the shipping was absolutely WAY too long, absolutely not acceptable.

I got this at a discount from an Amazon warehouse deal. Everything was there but I suspect the previous buyer was intimidated by the seemingly complicated install procedure. After watching a few videos and taking my time / going slowly, the cruise works perfectly with minimal drift above / below the set speed. If you are not mechanically inclined or adventurous, then recommend you find a mechanic that is willing to do the install before you purchase.

Works good. I'd be happier if the cruise control varied only 1 mph instead of 3 on my 2014 Chevy Cruze. This is not for the novice installer and will take the experienced specialist 15 min to install and the novice mechanic 2 hours. You'll need to splice 1 wire so have a soldering iron and solder handy. All in all the product is great and is so much cheaper than buying a new steering wheel, air bag, and having the dealership install & program a factory cruise control ($800).

Plugs into data port of car. No cutting wires. I've had it on the car a few years now and it works well. We had a Cruze without cruise.
