Rockland Journey Softside Upright Luggage Set,Expandable, Red, 4-Piece (14/19/24/28)

So I buy these from time to time as donations for a local family crisis center, and although I don't meet the end users, the staff have always shown the utmost appreciation for these sets and I say that because the Center only accepts new and quality made items. There have been no complaints about these Rocklands. I only open the boxes to verify contents and to pass the sets on, but I can tell that they are very well made. I'm going to keep buying these sets as they go on sale (2025 Black Friday savings had me buying 4 full sets!!) and I'm so grateful to Rockland for providing a quality product at a fair price!!

I love this set of luggage! I ordered the purple and the color in person is beautiful. One thing I really like is that all these suitcases are expandable. There's zipper around the lid of each one and when unzipped it gives you another inch. This is great for taking on vacation because it gives you extra room to bring back souvenirs.

I had read all the reviews of this set after I ordered it. I ordered 2 of them, the Zebra print and the Camouflage print. I was becoming very nervous based on the reports of the seams and zippers being broken. However, when this set arrived I was very impressed. The only defect I noticed was minor fraying on the strap of the largest piece. I trimmed with scissors and now it looks perfect. I rolled them around the house and didn't see any issues with the wheels. I took out and tested each individual piece as this is a purchase for our upcoming trip in 2 weeks from AZ to TX and another trip at the end of July from AZ to NY. I packed the middle piece with my son's medical supplies weighing 40 pounds. It still rolled nicely after being packed. Also, I noticed on the other reviews that there were complaints about the luggage standing after being packed. I didn't have this problem, the luggage stood perfectly on both tile and carpet. I packed heavier items towards the wheels and the lighter items towards the top strap. The little tote bags that came with set are large compared to what I have seen. My son has played with his quite a bit in the last 24 hours. Opening and closing it and filling it to the top and emptying it. So far there haven't been any issues with a broken zipper or seam. Based on other items that I have seen in the stores, this is a great value. I have seen comparable items in the store for $99 for just the largest piece. I haven't yet put these through an airport test. As I stated we don't leave for 2 weeks. If I find that these pieces don't hold up, I will be sure to add an update. There are a few cons that I noticed. The locks that come with the set are cheap and chinsy. I would recommend buying separate locks if you need them. *****Major Con for Zebra set**** The coloring is definitely off. It is not a lime green outline. It is certainly more of a neon yellow. This didn't bother me as I will need something that sticks out at the airport. However, if you are someone that is looking to match something else with this set it will be difficult, if not impossible. Overall, I would say this is a great set for the price. If you are looking for something that is top of line, I wouldn't recommend this. However, if you are looking for something that is affordable and decent, I would highly recommend this set.

These were so helpful for my trip. Everything fits in them and the fact that they all have different sizes is very practical.

Purchased this set a few months ago and just unpacked it for use in a trip coming up in two weeks. I'm highly disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for. It is made from super cheap plastic and very thin material. They do not feel sturdy at all. There was extra gray material of some sort sticking out from one of the seams on the largest bag, plus all of the bags had loose threads coming out of the seams along the outside AND inside, which I don't expect to last long. And the locks they came with are a joke. They're tiny and the keys are nothing more than hammered tin...the kind you see on the diary of a young woman. I don't have high hopes for this set, but it's too late to send back now, and I only travel twice a year, so we'll see how long it lasts. I'll update after I return from my first trip. Update: DO NOT BUY! DAMAGED ON MY FIRST USE! TORN IN THE BACK BECAUSE OF THE THIN MATERIAL! WONT STAY UPRIGHT WHEN PACKED FULL! CHEAP JUNK!!!!

They seem durable, they look good it is the color I wanted, they expand well and hold a lot. I am currently using the carry on bag as my toiletry bag because I ordered a toiletry bag and it never showed up and the carry on works great as a toiletry bag. The lock is a joke I took them off and left them at my house it's like a child's diary play lock they don't weigh much at all. Now the cons. The handles that extend out seem week and flimsy like they will break any minute, the bags don't stand up well because how the wheels are and the zippers like to stick and when I got the luggage the zipper things were closed but the zippers teeth were separated (if that makes sense) all in all I am happy I got these when I did because if I got them a few days later I would have been pissed that I spent money on them. I bought these in desperation.

I used these wherever I go on trips people loves the color and they stand out from the rest I know my luggage from distance also very durable

These are nice. I received a set for Christmas a few years ago and they are still in good condition. I got this set for my in-laws for Christmas.
