I love this device. It's super loud if you wire it using thick gauge wires, especially with the ground connection. Idiots on the roads can no longer ignore me when they need to be notified of a dangerous situation!!

This just occurred not so long ago 10:40pm l. Heading home listening to music blasting and note the siren I have it installed under my car facing the front so it projects really well. I’m coming up hill around a corner which leads downhill. A white Lexus IS heading up in the left lane I’m in the right going s little fast in my Wrangler, and I note the car weaves into the middle lane, I though oh I maybe scared her when I came up behind her with brights. But it gets worse here cars are coming up hill, and she weaves into the oncoming lane, I flipped when I saw that, turned the siren on and let me tell you I blast the police horn like crazy and she freaked out. swerved back to the lane she’s supposed to be in, I see her face lit up with her phone and I lost it, I grab the mic and yell through it which indeed freaked her out, you don’t expect to get that on a road from some guy driving a Jeep. And we’re heading down the street she’s freaked out and all, and I try to slow down but she just wasn’t going to pass me, I get it you’re scared but moral of the story it this just saved a life of 2-3 people from a head on collision thank you!

I bought this and was surprised. It's loud and great to not just yell in the truck, but to make my feelings known about people's driving. I had to mount it in the only open space I had under the hood, but it's awesome. Lots of fun.

Off the bat. I kept blowing my 12v psu power supply trying to wire this. Amazon tech support was no help. Green is not ground, yellow is not positive or white is not positive. Siren / horn toggle switch is on backwards. So when you hit the siren the horn sounds when you hit the siren the horn sounds. The two green wires actually go to the speaker. Unfortunately this does not fit in my trunk of my car. So I can not give it a full review. But I would give it a 3 star full review. Be warned when you get it you will have to open it up and reverse the toggle switch around. and make sure you hook this up to a power supply like I did to test the wire setup. Otherwise you may damage the car battery most likely.

This siren and pa unit is the same quality as some of the others our department has bought and paid triple for. And I've have lots of people on the department that have bought the same one as I got and love them. They meet state and federal guidelines for sound. These are excellent price and quality units for fire department and first responders especially the price.

Works as advertised. Nothing fancy or high quality, but for the price it is fair. I've bought same quality types for $100. Well packaged.
