This fabric is great for the money. Caution: this fabric is extremely thin, tempormental, and unravels too easily. Could be used as a lining or pillow case. Great deal though!

Solid weight easy to manage, sews beautifully. Gorgeous rich color would make just about any garment stand out. Great value for the money.

I used this to make a dress for comic con. It's pretty true to color, but very sheer. you can easily see if there's other colors under it (like how you can see my shorts through it). Like most silky type fabrics, it frays really easily so you have to be careful when cutting. It wrinkles really easily, but also irons out pretty well. You need to use a low temp or it melts.

First off this was the second time I ordered from this company. My first order was purple charmeuse and the description was correct. It was silky, soft and had a beautiful drape...my 2nd order was suppose to be white charmeuse but sadly it wasn't even the same fabric...absolutely NO drape, way too crisp and felt like paper. In all honesty it reminded me of cheap costume satin...the worst I have ever seen.I received it today and will be sending back tomorrow!

Stiff, like fabric used on cheap graduation gowns. But that said, this worked well for an inexpensive drape on a wedding arbor and color ran true. Worth the money, came timely and the yardage worked well.

The threads coming out from anywhere with slight scratch with nails during sewing. Fabric is looking good but unexpectedly thin comparing other satin fabrics. Not suitable for reuse for long time.

This fabric is very beautiful. It's the exact color that I needed to make a dress. Everyone else in the previous reviews are complaining about the stiffness. I'm a seamstress/fashion designer. You have to wash this fabric before using with laundry detergent and fabric softener. As far as the fraying, I would say of you don't have a serger machine/overlook then you would have to burn the ends to keep from fraying. I have a serger so I'm fine. The price for 5yards is definitely AMAZING. I will definitely purchase in other colors and possible more yards as well for my other projects.

For my daughter’s graduation cake table, I needed to create different levels and contrast. This fabric was great for the cakes I had raised up on platforms to contrast from those on the main table.
