Oetiker Clamp Assortment Case, Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamps, Single Ear Hose Clamps (20 Pack (3/8"- 5/8"), Without Pincers)

I wasn't 100% sure what size I needed for the hose I was using, so I just bought this kit. Turns out I was correct anyway, but now I have a bunch of good clamps for future use. This is a good assortment, and I'm sure I'll use them eventually. The hose I'm using is Gates 6LP350X, with a spec outside OD of 18.8 mm. Actual measured was around 19.0 mm. The clamp that fit was the "21mm" clamp part number 16700024, marked with the number 21 on the clamp. I also tried the 19.8mm clamp on a short piece of spare hose, it fit, but not as good as the 21. It was nice to have the various sizes, and now I know that the 21 was actually the "best" size to use.

This is a great starter kit to get into stepless Oetikers. You probably will never use the 7.0 or 10.5mm clamps, unless you deal with tiny stuff on a regular basis. The middle sizes are the most useful for general repair. Actually, nothing in this kit fit the 5/16" or 1/2" fuel line I needed it for, so I purchased the following sizes to round-out the selection: 14, 14.5, 18.5, 19.8, and 22.6mm Now that pretty well covers it for hose connections up to 5/8". Edit: Years later the kit I got does not look the same as the one listed currently. The numbers I mentioned may not be relevant to this particular item.

I have had this in my want list for a while but just happened to be out of stock when ever I looked. Finally came back up and I bought it. Nice to have a large selection of the pinch clamps in a plastic box. I didn't do a breakdown of the cost of the clamps, but it seems a bit expensive. 4 stars was for price only

Purchased with Oetiker pliers. Great addition to my toolbox. Customers prefer the "clean look " of these clamps on their bikes. These work so much better than "worm clamps" . Must have for BMW and Ducati service techs.

Buen conjunto de abrazaderas Oetiker un poco difíciles de encontrar en esta marca especificamente, trae 40 piezas en total ( 10 piezas en cada tamaño), en 4 tamaños (7, 9.5, 11.3 y 13.3 mm). Son de acero inoxidable se ven de buen acabado. Se utilizarán para aplicación automotriz aunque se pueden aplicar a cualquier necesidad. No son reutilizables son para aplicación que requieran fijación permanente, no dañan mangueras a diferencia de las abrazaderas comunes de tornillo. Veremos cómo resultan a lo largo del tiempo, por lo pronto todo bien con el producto.
