At the time, I didn't really take notice of the cartridge and stylus, it just worked. The turntable just worked, yay. Damaged the existing stylus in a move, found it was a Ortofon 20, $200 bucks to replace it. Being short of funds, I opted for the Pro S, and it does the job. My hearing isn't the best, so I can't hear the subtleties between a $200 stylus and a $30 stylus. Maybe I could side by side. Anyway, this stylus does the job, I'm happy with it, and can listen to my albums. if only I'd invested in diamonds, then I wouldn't see $200 as a issue. What most impressed me is the speed by which desertcart got the shipment to me. Faster than advertised. If only other unnamed companies, like a certain G company, would get a frigging clue about the fact that customer happiness is directly proportionate to the speed by which packages are delivered. It ain't rocket science.
