Super quiet on low levels, and moves a lot of air for its size
Super quiet at least at level one, level two is good as well, level three is a bit on the loud side, but not too bad and definitely not as bad as most of the other competitor fans. It’s super light, super portable, and you can store it just about anywhere as it’s only 16” tall and 6” deep. It moves a lot of air and as a multiple fan owner, a great fan for the price.

Powerful and quiet
This 12" fan is a powerhouse! Within 10 minutes of turning it on, the room temperature dropped by about 5 degrees. It comes fully assembled, except for a knob you can put on the side to change the direction of the fan. The heavy, 3 pronged 5 foot cord is nice, as I can either put it on a desk or the floor, and move it around if I need. Metal fans, including this one, are so much more quiet than plastic. I believe that it will last a long time, and at this price, it it a great value. Not only is the fan good, customer service at this company is excellent! I had a question, and it was answered in about 2 hours. When you can't have air conditioning, a fan like this will make a heat wave much more comfortable.

Terrible terrible fan. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
I ordered one of these fans to replace an older 9” fan that stopped working. When it arrived, the fan blades were not even attached to the motor within the shroud. I sent it back and promptly received a replacement. When the replacement arrived, the fan blade was not attached once again. I decided to disassemble the fan guard and attach the blades to the motor. Much to my surprise a retaining nut was required to hold the blades on and it was nowhere to be found. What really blew my mind was that the missing retaining nut was a left hand thread nut. Very uncommon. I then decided to dig my old fan out of the trash, remove that fan blade (which was secured with a set screw) and commence to install it onto the newly disassembled and unusable fan. It is now working. It does not blow very hard. It is made of very cheap material and I do not expect it to last very long as the motor is very small. I am very disappointed and I do not recommend anyone buying this fan or anything else made by this company. Purely horrible company and a total lack of quality control. It’s like buying a new car and having to build a motor for it before you can drive it.

100% satisfied
I love everything about this fan! It's not too big and not too small. It fits nicely on my husband's night stand and leaves plenty of room for his phone, wallet etc.. I bought this fan because my husband and I go around and around about his old fan! It was way too noisey and I couldn't stand it. I would have to turn my TV up to 70 just to be able hear it and of course with him trying to sleep that irritated him. So, to solve the problem I ordered this fan. I was very apprehensive about buying a fan online because I've been known to order stuff and have it be something completely different when you get it (either too small or not what you expected). But I watched the video another customer made and was sold on the quietness and power of this one. (The video was not wrong!) This fan is exactly how it seems in the video. I cannot believe how quiet it actually is (compared to our old fan). I slept really peacefully last night and had no issues! Thank God 🙌 The air output is amazing just on low. (We have a king-size bed and I could feel it over on my side from his.) So it's very powerful and best of all did I mention it's quite? Needless to say I highly recommend this fan!

Great SMALL 9" hi velocity fan- when it works properly--- But my goodness are these things sure junk
First off, and most importantly, please do not forget that this is just a small nine inch (9") fan; so you cannot expect to get the airflow that you would get from a larger fan.... If you need a lot of air movement, and that's what you expect, I strongly suggest that you get a high velocity fan of no less than 16"... A 20" fan would be my suggestion if you want a lot of airflow... you can really feel the air flow from a 20" fan... But as for a 9" fan such as this item, well my friend, this is about the best you're gonna get from any high velocity fan of only 9 inches... With that being said, and hereafter speaking only of NINE INCH fans, such as this model and models that look similar to this one as they're all pretty much the same thing with different names... They're all great little air circulators but unfortunately, like most everything nowadays, these fans are pretty much chintzy chinese garbage and I can all but assure you that any brand new 9" high velo fan that looks identical or similar to this model, including this model, will not last you more than a year if you intend on running it full time.. SO... Having personally owned 5 of this specific model fan, here is what you can expect to happen as this has happened to me with each and every one of the five I've had... When this fan is brand new, right out of the box, it will probably work very well; it will run very smooth and the only real noise will be the result of the shaft and blade spinning at high speed- totally normal for a high velocity fan of any kind... (If you hear any metallic noise at all then the fan is defective out of the box)... BUT THEN- After anywhere from 2 months to 11 months of running continuously and smoothly, the fan's mechanics will get out of whack and start making a subtle clanging/creaking/clattering/squealing/knocking, off balance kinda noise...... At this point the fan will either soon cease to spin altogether, or it will continue to spin for a long time with the squeaking creaking clanging wobbly gobbly noise becoming gradually more pronounced while continuing to spin with authority...... Once this noise begins, I've learned to take the entire thing apart and clean up the mechanics. I put a couple drops of 3-1 oil on the magnet part and also clean and lube the the front and back of the 2 pivoting holes which the drive shaft goes through.... Then when I put the fan back together it works just like new from anywhere from 3 days to a few months before the aforementioned creaky squeaky clattering noise returns... I've actually included a video of this noise... every one of these fans will end up making this noise at some point in its lifetime... On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst possible, this is a 10 and its way past time to disassemble this particular unit for its umpteenth "repair".... When this noise first starts it is nowhere near this loud and pronounced... for example, the fan depicted in the video first started making a slightly noticeable noise about two months before this video was taken but since the fan is not located in a living space I procrastinated in "fixing" it.. Now that the sound is this bad, this unit will stay off until I tear it apart and "fix" it...... If the fan ever stops spinning entirely, it must be turned off asap before the motor overheats and fries. Mind you now that A:) my fans run continuously 24/7/365, and B:) my fans hang from their base upside down from the ceiling So If you are only using this fan intermittently, you will probably get much better mileage from yours than do I...

Last summer, I jettisoned my beloved Air King 12-inch industrial fan with almost similar configuration as this Comfort Zone high-velocity fan. I believed I bought the Air King brand from Walmart on sale around $30 about 10 years ago. Yes, it had served me so well. In fact, it was still running great and my only problem with that Air King was a broken switch after years of abuse lol. I can still operate the unit but I would have to use a plier and it would work sometimes, and at times no. I asked for quote on repair but realized that the repair cost for a switch is insane so I threw out the whole unit since my building AC had started running then. During dog days of summer, I like using an electric fan for air circulation in my apartment unit to complement the building AC. Fortunately, Amazon sells Air King brand as well. At Walmart, it is no longer available. For me though, the current selling price of Air King brand is just ridiculous a.k.a. way too expensive for me. Thankfully, I found this Comfort Zone brand with a number of good reviews. I am more than satisfied with this purchase and therefore I would like to add to the positive reviews. The Pros: - moves a humongous amount of air - quiet operation for a high-velocity fan; 3 fan speeds - even the fastest speed is relatively quiet (a pleasant white noise for those wanting to sleep with fan) - the plug gives you the opportunity to replace the fuse in case of short circuit (I have no idea that electric fans these days have accessible fuse for overcurrent protection) - this 12" fan is so handy you could move it around easily; lightweight but sturdy - as to performance , I give a 10 out of 10 for both Comfort Zone and Air King - here's the jackpot, I got this on sale at $54.85 - even with regular pricing this is still more economical than an Air King brand The Cons: - I am hoping to add broken switch after 10 years lol Don't wait till summer. Buy now. I highly recommend this product. Finally, on another note, I just want to give a shoutout to Intelcom Courier. For all my purchases with Amazon using Intelcom as courier, they have performed so well in every delivery definitely outperforming Fed-Ex and Purolator. If Amazon would conduct a survey on performance of couriers, here's my ranking: 1) Intelcom Courier 2) Purolator 3) Fed-Ex

This Fan is really perfect for me . I have bought three of them. It is so quiet you have to look at it to know it is on. It is very powerful even on the lowest number it cools a large room. I will be buying one more for my large living room for the Summer. I have them in all of my bedrooms In the quiet of the night there is a gentle tiny hum.

Usually I don't write reviews because I'm lazy, but this time I really want to do so. I rent a furnished house but there is a strong smell inside. I think it must be formaldehyde produced by the low-quality furnitures. Formaldehyde is bad to health and it causes you thirsty more often than usual at the beginning - that's what I experienced when living in the house. I just want a fan that is strong enough to blow fresh air from outside continuously, and also quiet. This fan is exactly what a fan should have - extremely strong wind (adjustable) that makes air in the 20 meter*10 meter house always fresh if I put it by the window, endurable noise which really like white noise so you can actually sleep better with it, and no any other fancy but useless functions like LED. BTW, it is all metal- made which indicate good-quality. Now I no more experience often-thirsty problem and it smells great in the house. This fan is excellent!
