Work great for 1st gen Equinox
These are working as advertised. I replaced the damaged socket on my girlfriend's 2008 Equinox. This one clipped right on despite looking slightly different than the OE socket. Price was excellent as well. Provided it continues to work as well as it does right now, I'll continue to be completely satisfied.

It worked for a couple of years
It had to be replaced, the ground connection was over heated and the connector was unreliable. Had the same problem with the OEM original connector. Maybe marginal design or quality control problem. Buy the heavy duty connector, it has larger gauge wires, and my be more reliable.
