adidas Team Force By adidas For Men, Eau De Toilette Spray, 3.4-Ounce Bottle

Bought this for my teenage grandson. Nice mild and pleasant scent; not overpowering like other colognes.

A friend of mine gave me a bottle of this Adidas Team Force spray several years ago. She said it was "close-out" at the store where she worked. I've typically worn more "expensive" brand-name stuff. I found myself using this almost daily. It is not over-powering, even if you accidently put on too much. It does not smell "cheap". The scent is clean, light, fresh, and masculine, like you just got out of the shower. I've noticed that my wife always tells me I smell good when I wear it. I love the price. This is the second bottle I've owned. The first "free" bottle I received lasted several years.

Simply put, I like it but I don't love it. I'm about to graduate college, so I've been looking at different colognes to try for everyday wear. I saw this fragrance was ranked pretty highly on Amazon's Men's cologne page, so I decided to try it out. I bought it along with a few other colognes to try. The bottle and presentation is certainly nice. It's a moderate size and the spray nozzle works very well. Yesterday, I sprayed on a little bit to test. The smell is a bit strong at first, but it fades into a more pleasant smell after a few minutes. It's very sporty and overtly masculine. There's a bit of fruity sweetness in it as well, but it is a mainly musky scent. I would almost compare it to Axe products, but it is much less overpowering. When I put this cologne on, I felt like a teen in the locker rooms again. For under $10, it is certainly a great fragrance with multiple uses. However, I just can't see myself wearing it into my office or to casual social gatherings. I'd say it's perfect use would be for outdoor events or large group activities. Overall, it's a decent smell and very cheap. It reminds me of Axe and it would be certainly be a good transition cologne for a teenager looking to phase out of body sprays. I used to wear this a lot in high school, and would use it to freshen my neckline up after gym/practice. 5 Years later, and I'm back to this scent again as I missed it, but I've realized the scent doesn't last nearly as long as I recall. I sprayed some on my wrist and waited 10-15mins and the scent was super faint, barely noticeable. After 35-45mins, the scent was gone and this was all while laying in bed one night with the a/c on and no handwashing. Not sure if there's something wrong with just my bottle, or if they lightened the scent so much over the years. Kinda sucks.
