Fixed the problem and saved a bunch!
Now I can put appliance repair man on my résumé! The washer would not start and had a loud buzzing noise when we shut the door. A few YouTube videos later I ordered this part. It fit perfectly and was relatively easy to install. I was getting kind of worried before I got it repaired. My wife was out looking at new washer and dryer’s. Have you seen the price of those lately?!!

Works, easy to install, cheap
My son had it installed in 20 minutes, and that includes the time spent watching a YouTube video. It was one of the cheaper non-factory parts sold on Amazon, but it works. And I can stop now washing my clothes on the river bank.

Easy DIY for the handy.
Price was right and only took an hour to swap it out. A service call was $120 plus parts and labor. Hard pass. Manuals available online. Don't freak out; you only need a screwdriver and patience.

Fixed Washer Not Spinning
My old Kenmore 44125 front load washer suddenly stopped doing a final spin leaving the clothes soaked. After checking and replacing the drain pump, after further searching online decided to try out this door switch replacement. It was a perfect match, and completely fixed our washer issue! Initially the washer smelled like grease after the first load of laundry, but since then the smell has not come back. Overall very happy with the speed of shipping, low cost, and quality of the part.

Easy install, fast shipping, life is good.
Our Frigidaire Affinity front loader would not start because the door wouldn’t lock. The part arrived in two days and was $50 less expensive than the local parts source. It took me all of ten minutes to remove the old switch and install the new one. I pushed the start button, the door locked and we were washing clothes again. Can’t speak to the longevity of the part because it’s only been installed for a few days. Correct part, two day shipping, easy install. 5 *****’s.

I ordered this part not sure if it would fix the problem on the washer. It installed easy and the washer is back working normal once again. i am happy with my purchase.
