This is a HEAVY rake that works!
I was a little worried that the pole for this rake (that you have to put together) was going to be wimpy, like you find with a Swifter. Boy was I shocked to find these are heavy duty metal pieces and this rake is far heavier than any lawn care tool I have (not including my mower). Seriously, this bad boy can pull up yard waste with no problem. I like the ergonomic handle more than I thought I would. If nothing else, it makes carrying the rake a lot easier. Great product that does the work I needed it to.

Gives you incredible leverage not found in straight handles.
This tool turned out to be a fantastic tool that allows you to get really good leverage on tough ground, weeds, and brush. Works really well for pulling blackberries out by the roots. Because of the extra handle configuration, you can really put some torque on this tool that you can't on just straight handled tools, and it is holding up super well. A tool comes along every now and then that really makes your job easier and adds something to your collection that you will use again and again. I highly recommend this tool, and it is a really good value at it's selling price. My compliments to the designer.

ERGIE SYSTEMS ErgieShovel 4-Tine Garden Cultivator
I never realized how much I used one of these until mine broke. I ordered this one due to it having a metal handle instead of a wooden handle. It was assembled pretty quick and takes no tools. I realized right away how heavy this was when I started using it. After two hours of using it between my garden rows, it gets a little tiring. I may removed the extended handle to lighten it up a little. It is very sturdy, having used it to remove a beaver dam. The tines feel very rugged on this. At least I know this will last quite a while. The only thing I would suggest to someone about buying this is to make sure to eat your Wheaties if you plan to use it for very long. I do recommend this for great gardening results.

Good garden tool
The overall construction of this tool seems very good. The tine head is not the less expensive type with a screw or nail holding it to a wooden shaft, which is what I DID have & broke. This tool is likely too heavy for the casual gardener as it is all metal shaft, etc. It is a bit awkward to handle for a 5'1" person but it definitely does the job & after getting used to it, I know I can depend on it to dig deep & handle my garden needs.

Great Quality
I've always bought quality tools. It pays off in the long run. This cultivator was not purchased for tilling soil as named, but to help haul out well-packed bush trimmings from a trailer when taking them to the dump. It is light weight yet sturdy - including the top handle. It stands up to being whacked hard into the debris and then sharply pulled toward you time after time. The deep forged steel tines penetrate the packed debris much better than a standard dirt rake. I've taken 5 trailer loads so far from my normal Fall bush and tree trimming after receiving this tool and can unload much faster than before doing by hand. The hand grip at the end of the pole is two layer, grips well and looks like it will last. I think this will be of much use over the years to come.

Got shaky
The rake part itself was shaky basically right out of the box, and the handle started shaking at the screw-together points after about an hour of use. It needs to be made better. I don't know if this reflects on others, and other types of tools. It's not end of the word, but you feel it. It's also not the lightest. The handle is nice - especially for women, and children, but I think it needs to be made better.

Well made, great back saver for gardeners.
More than pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box! Made of metal with a hard plastic handle. Assembly was to put 3 metal pieces together and add the plastic handle. Outstanding product and definitely a back saver. It does have some weight to it (hefty) but does a great job. I am going to buy three more to give to my kids for their gardens! I sincerely wish this came out long ago.

Where's this beauty been all my life?!?!
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this wonderful gardening tool! I have Chronic spinal damage from degenerative disc disease, at the end of last year I had a implanted pain medication pump, which has made it possible for me to be able to do some gardening again. The ergonomics of the rake work very well, better leverage and control, keeps the back in better posture and alignment. I highly recommend it!👍😁 The Tiller Rake probably wasn't intended for this use, but the ergo handle can be used as a support for bending down or rising up from the ground. By putting the head of the rake flat on the ground with the handle vertical to the ground, the handle is at a good height for this. Also while I was kneeling down on the ground and needed a shorter handled tool, I just unscrewed the connecting bolt and BOOM!...SHORT HANDLE TILLER!
