Dutton's Orthopedic Survival Guide: Managing Common Conditions 1st Edition

I bought this copy before getting another bigger book also by Mark Dutton. I am actually able to read these books!! I have other therapy and related books that put me right to sleep 😴If you’re looking for some additional orthopedic physical therapy exercises, or assessment information, try this author.

Pretty happy with this book. I am a physical therapy student and reading is very time consuming in the program I am in (problem based learning). Since we only have a day or 2 to get our info together, this was a great consolidated version of the Dutton book that is more extensive. Overall, great use the price and helped review prior subjects in a more condensed fashion. Keep in mind, still should rely on other books but its a good go to book for times you don't have a lot of time to go on.Keep in mind, its a good book for physical therapy, probably occupational therapy, and other similar fields.

This book is a great, quick resource for the clinic. The kindle edition is easy to navigate with a comprehensive table of contents and search function. This makes it so easy to have with you on your tablet for patient education or to search for a topic while on the go. It is surprisingly comprehensive for a " survival guide". I could not be more pleased with this purchase!

This book is a great reference book for students. Small enough to carry around to clinical affiliations when you need info fast. It offers brief info on various ortho conditions with ther ex suggestions. It also has a differential diagnosis section for the ortho conditions, just in case any red flags appear. I highly recommend this to all PT students.

Very concise information regarding most cases typically seen in outpatient orthopedics. This book has been very helpful, and it is organized by joint, with resourceful lists of special tests and graduated interventions.

I am so happy I decided to buy this book to take with my to my first outpatient orthopedic clinical. Great information and easy to find what you are looking for!
