Ultra Premium Puppy Dry Dog Food ,1.2Kg Pack

I know a few vets and canine nutritionists who recommend this. I have a 5 month old shih tzu puppy who loves the taste . I used to feed royal canin puppy starter for first 3 months which was excellent but wanted a cheaper alternative and this is definitely the answer. Some key points to remember for small breeds . * Don't just depend on kibble for all 3 meals, I give him kibble in the morning + one build egg , oatmeal with veggies in the afternoon and build veggies with some fruits + a small portion of kibble in the night. *never feed just dry kibble and also don't just put kibble in water and expect your small breed to eat and digest it its also a choking hazard and pup might end up puking . Buy a small hand blender like phillips mix 50 gms of kibble with 100 ml of hot water and blend it with a consistency of idly batter. Crush 10 gms of dry kibble and and sprinkle it on top . Wait till the temp cools down to Luke warm and feed it. They will love it :). *it's normal for pup to pass dark stool when on kibble diet.nothing to worry. *make sure the pup has been dewormed before starting this diet and continue once in 90 days. *treats like gerhigh and gnawlers can be given at moderate intervals in between meals but make sure they have access to plenty of water. * don't use the kibble straight out of the bag, buy a airtight Tupperware cerial container of probably 1 kg and transfer as much as needed to that container and keep the rest sealed. Avoid using bare hands to scoop the kibble and keep away from moisture. *Last but not the least make sure to wipe your puppy's face after eating to avoid rashes or infections . *make sure they have plenty of exercise when on this diet so they don't get obese. And of course give it lots of ❤️

For all the fellow pet lovers, this product is pretty good. Ive been feeding this to my labrador pup since last month or so (transitioned from canine creek starter), he likes it and faced no issues like diarrhoea or vomiting. Few downsides though, the packaging it comes with is rather flimsy, the zip seal is weak. Id highly recommend to get a plastic container that is air sealed tight to protect the kibbles from moisture. The other downside is the smell, the smell is absolutely atrocious, i usually soak kibbles for few mins before feeding and the smell is almost unbearable. Some key points for fellow owners, always check few kibbles once its delivered, make sure they’re not worm infested or anything of that sorts. When transitioning from any different food, make sure you take it slow and add a little amount at first and gradually increase it, on the package it says you can make a full transition in 7 days, but take it slow. Always soak your kibbles first (especially if your dog is 4 months old and below), kibbles are hard to chew on and might cause choking. Other thing you can mix kibbles in other food like rice and curd (make sure rice is bland as in there are no spices). Also yeah its pretty normal for your dog to have brown turd after eating kibbles. Overall im pretty satisfied with this product. Edit : Prevent buying the food from amazon, they sell expired and old food, they also usually paste a fake piece of film over the real expired date, if possible only buy from a reputable pet shop. Currently my puppy is facing diarrhoea and vomiting , presumably because of the dog food.

I am using this for my Beagle Puppy since long. We started with Starter and fed till he was 3 month old. Then switched to Puppy. My beagle is now 4.5 month old and he likes the Taste. Never made any fuss. We give this in both ways - soaked in lukewarm water as well as dry kibbles and water afterwards. Never had any issue related to his apatite, growth, fur quality, energy level etc. Apart from Canine Creek Puppy, we give him curd daily, seasonal fruits twice-thrice a week and 2 tablespoon of Vanilla ice cream once a week. I bought a 4kg pack for my lab pup. Here is my 3 days experience with this product. Day 1: I filled the food bowl with this product gave it to my pup. He turned away and even refused to smell it. I tried hand feeding him which he quickly spit it out and refused to eat. On consecutive tries, he ate the food. It was hard for him to chew. He refused eating it for the rest of the day and remained empty stomach. Day 2: He still refused to eat the food from this pack. Thinking our pup got sick, we got extremely worried and rushed him to the vet. On examining, the vet said he is completely fine, doesn't seem to be sick. Now I had doubts on the food. While returning home, I bought a new pack from a nearby local pet shop. For the rest of the day, we fed him with home cooked food which he ate with no trouble. Day 3 (today): Now my pup is sick. He showed signs of constipation and threw up any food he ate (even the home cooked food). We again rushed him to the hospital. The vet said that he has an upset stomach and prescribed meds. He lost some weight as well. After reaching home, I compared the pack that I bought in Amazon and the one I bought in the pet store. I have attached an image of the comparison. On the image, the pellets on the top are the ones I bought in Amazon and the bottom ones are from shop. Top pellets look smaller, harder and smells different. The bottom ones are a bit bigger, lighter and smells like food. Completely frustrated with the product. It affected my pup's health and wasted my money. Think twice before buying the product.
