Q: How tall do you have to be to use this? A reviewer said she was 5' and couldn't reach the bar. Sure wish they'd make it adjustable for short people!

I am 5 ft 4. It was a strain to reach and use effectively so I sent it to Goodwill after three tries. I can do 200 plus crunches on the ab machine at the gym, maybe 10 bad ones on this. I can't recommend it for a five four height.

Q: Does this fold up for easy storing?

sorry it does not fold up its one of the downfall of this product..

Q: can you do side crushes on this machine?

Yes you can. You simply turn your body on its side, leaving upper body straight/aligned with the Ab Crunch, and it targets the obliques perfectly.
