Nice fit but I think it needs to be slightly thicker.
For now, I'm going to leave 3 stars for this device. It installed perfectly on my 2013 Rubi. I placed a bit of black tape where it touched the body, used a fender bolt to secure it to the vehicle although I did install a larger washer for a bit more holding power and installed 4 self tapping screws for some extra holding power. All metal-to-metal parts were sanded for a good connection. At first I did not install the self-tappers but with a 3' fiberglass antenna there was just way too much flex and movement of the mount. Even with the self tappers, there is still an uncomfortable amount of movement in the form of metal flex. So, I installed a 2' antenna on a spring. Still not satisfied. I'm thinking this mount needs to be made of thicker material or have a wider footprint since over time the flexing of the metal will cause problems. I'll run it for awhile and see what happens. I'm currently using fiberglass antennas but may require switching to a whip or a more flexible antenna to take some of the movement stress off the mount itself.I increased this to a 4 star review. With a 2' Firestik on a spring, it's held up well even at greater than highway speeds. It's seems to work well.

Fit perfect on 2008 JK
Picture is of a hand mic but I did receive the right product which is the Accessories Unlimited AUJ1.Use an off-brand 3/8" NMO mount. No drilling to 3/4" required. Works great and seems very sturdy. Wish it was flat black but could paint I guess. Knew it was shiny chrome when ordered.I used the single hole on the mount and a body panel bolt. Mounted just forward of the passenger cowl. Have a short Tram 1/4 wave antenna on it. Lots of highway driving. Seems tight and hasn't moved in the couple months it's been mounted.

Sturdy mount.
Works well for this application. I used this on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to do an NMO mount 3db gain Ghost Antenna for a GMRS radio. The mount had to be drilled out to fit the NMO mount but that was the only hard part. I used an existing fender mount for the bolt and also used the included ground stud to further ground the mount to the body. Very sturdy mount, stainless, looks nice, doesn’t interfere with the hood closing, and the antenna is out of the way of branches and trees.

Easy install, looks great
This is a great product. It worked perfectly for mounting a Firestick CB antenna on my JK Jeep. Installation was easy. There is a slot in the mount that slides under one of the screws in the sheet metal. There are also four additional screw holes for adding support--I recommend using these. The first time I installed it, I just used the slot. I went wheeling, and the movement of the antenna ripped the screw out of the sheet metal on the side of the Jeep. I reinstalled it and added four 1/4"x1/2" stainless sheet metal screws (predrilled holes). I believe I could swing from it now without breaking anything. If you buy a pretuned antenna, you may need to retune it to compensate for the mount. Also, the location you have to place this mount may restrict the antenna wire coming out of the bottom of the mount, depending on what type of fenders you have. I solved the problem with a 90 degree coax adapter from Radio Shack. It looks professionally installed now.

Fits my 2008 Jeep JKU
It uses one of the under hood bolts and has holes for 4 screws to really secure it down. It also has a screw for the antenna's ground wire, that was a nice touch. you can put it on either side of the hood, or get two and have a dual setup.I didn't realize the post is only for a fire ring, so I had to buy a new CB cable, but that's no big deal. You could unscrew it and use another type, but I figured I'd give a fire ring a try.I really like where the antenna is on the Jeep and it looks great.

Wont fit a 2020 Jeep JLU
Well I am at a loss for mounting options for my 2020 JLU Recon. I thought this would work out but it’s about an inch to short. So save your money and look for another way to mount an antenna.
