Q: Iam running 2 13.5 jl w7 and 2 1200/1 amps iam thinking about just upgrading the subs too these will my 1200/1 push them?

This speaker loves power! Ported box you will need 1500 clean watts about 2500 watt amp. Sealed box you need 2500 clean watts about 5000 watt amp. I recommend a 1ohm amp. This speaker will also need a custom box. If you have the right amp and box you will love this speaker.

Q: Is it best to wire this sub at 1ohm or 2ohm?

It would matter what your amp can handle? If it's 1 ohm stable then get a dual 2 ohm or if your amp is 2 ohm stable get a dual 4 ohm sub so you can wire it down to match the amp.

Q: What's a good amp on here for this sub?

Go watch a bunch of amplifier dyno videos, then pick one that can do at least 1500 to 2000w @ 2ohm and you should be good.. then if you buy either a dual 2 or 4ohm you should be good to go.. if you plan on running 2 I recommend the dual 4ohm sub, if u only wanna run 1 sub get the dual 2.. then ur good running it at 1ohm or 4ohm
