The item worked perfectly and came earlier than expected.

Our swivel recliner bit the dust. After 10+ years of abuse by kids and supporting large adults, it's been showing lots of wear. For about a year it's been swiveling too freely. And yesterday, there was a pop and ball bearings rolled onto the ground. I flipped the chair over and removed the four bolts holding the previous square swivel to the chair and the four bolts holding that to the base. The problem with the original square swivel was pretty obvious. The bolt holding it together had pulled the nut and (too big) washer through the hole. I thought it MIGHT be possible to replace just the bolt and washer, but the hole was messed up too and I saw this square swivel was fairly affordable on Amazon and was even available Same Day Prime for me. So I ordered it. It came later in the day, and was quick and easy to install. The eight bolts took less than 5 minutes to reinstall. Like other reviewers have observed, this appears to be a higher quality square swivel than the one that the manufacturer used. It feels very solid and the bolt assembly and the hole it goes through looks like it'll hold up much longer. I'd MUCH rather spend a little bit of money (and a few minutes of labor) repairing my favorite recliner than try to find a new one.

Bought a used recliner, but when my friend lifted the base off my cargo carrier, all the ball bearings fell out of the original swivel part. Tried to put them back in, but the bolt was welded to the nut, so I was unable to do it. This product made the recliner balanced and it swivels beautifully now! Sure beats buying a new recliner! When this recliner wears out (overuse, weather, cat, etc.), I'll be saving this piece for the next used chair I buy.

I used this to replace a swivel rocker chairs worn out swivel. I have had it in place for over a month and it works great. Was easy to install and seems to be as good as the original. Saved me a lot of money as compared to having the chair repaired or purchasing a new chair. I would highly recommend it at this time, but the true test will be the longevity of the repair.

Such an easy fix for a chair we thought we’d have to get rid of! Our rocking recliner had been creaky for a while and it didn’t turn well. It wasn’t until we started noticing little metal balls dropping from it that we really inspected it. It appeared to be the square swivel that was broken. The part was ordered and put in in under 30mins. Chair is like new again! Excellent product!!
