Final Warning: Understanding the Trumpet Days of Revelation Review: Great book giving much to think about! - A well written book with a view I've never heard of before, and is quite amazing if you open-up and allow what he is saying to register within. It brings much truth with a new and different light for me. As you well know we have been given many different interpretations; and Pre-Mid-Post-trib all speak of Jesus coming for us at some point. So, as far as which version is 'right' .... well for me, I see all three offerings of explaining the rapture and I understand how they came to their conclusions. I personally don't know where we are according to the timeline in Revelation, but as they all seem to agree on, and what I believe, JESUS IS COMING FOR US and it will be SOON. The time is very near and we need to be ready, saved, in His will, doing His work with an expectant, repented heart. If we must be here longer than we would like to, we need to be prepared to do so. Of course God knew this issue of timing would be such as it is, and yet He has allowed it to be this way. I believe He has allowed this difference of opinion to remind us that it's just that, man's opinion, but He is the One with ALL the answers and for us it's really all about FAITH! It's about us NOT looking to man for our answers, but keeping our minds and hearts turned to Him. I so look forward to 'going home'! With that being said, I'm still very thankful to people like Carl Gallup for their many years of Biblical study and sharing with us what he has learned. I also appreciate his courage in coming forward with this information, and using the Bible to find his answers. Great job, well done! Review: ” Great read. Buy it - Want to start an argument at a church picnic, bring up end-time events. Chronological views on the Bible’s “end times,” or eschatology are many and evolving in view of world events despite the fact that the Bible’s wording remains the same. The fact that Israel is the only nation that ceased to exist and now exists, and Jesus prophesy that He will not return until the Gospel has been preached to all the world, which it has, are proof that we now live in the season of Christ’s return and the Bible’s “latter days.” Rev. Carl Gallups offers the provocative premise that we are now well into the Days of Trumpets of Revelation. Refreshingly, he does not insist that his views are Gospel truth and says he will still stay in fellowship with theologians who hold dissimilar views. Yet his arguments are well researched, presented within scriptural context and extraordinarily compelling. I read it in two days. Any student of the Bible in general or end-time biblical events in particularly—no matter their current position—would greatly benefit from examining the author’s viewpoint. If any of us, including myself, examine with pure hearts and prayer a subject God seems to have intentionally left open to interpretation, yet insist mine is definitely correct, is tantamount to saying, “It is only I who hears from God.” Great read. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed. Rev. Eddie Donnally DMin, Author of "Doctrines of Demons: The New Age Dawns."

An Earthquake Initiates Trumpets, Seals & Thunders of End-Times in Revelation
FOUR STARS for Carl Gallups' book because he's ahead of most modern authors in regard to the timing of the rapture. He cites the apostle Paul: “We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed... at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible.” 1Cor 15:51,52. Gallups sees the trumpets of Jericho “as a 'type' of the seven trumpets of Revelation” where they are also called “plagues” (Rev 9:20), but he doesn't mention the seven trips around Jericho on the 7th day as a type of “the seven last plagues” that also have “the wrath of God,” Rev 15:1. Israel was spared the wrath of the seven last plagues on Egypt that was also a “type,” Exod 8:22,23. Pre-trib rapturists quote Paul's “not appointed us to wrath,” forgetting that when three Hebrews faced the king's wrath for not worshiping the image in Daniel 3. God kept the Hebrews through the furnace and He will do it for us because that image was also “type” of the image in Rev 13:15. When asked about “the end of the world,” Christ said to understand Daniel (Matthew 24:3,15) where death was possible in each of the first six chapters. “Daniel” means God is my judge, and the book of Judges shows the judges were deliverers and our deliverance occurs at “the last trump” as Gallups shows. But it is hazardous to read the newspaper in one hand while searching the book of Revelation in the other. Doing so can make Chernobyl in 1986 seem like a fulfillment of wormwood in Rev 8:11 when it is only a shadow or omen of what's coming in the end-time “day of the Lord” that John unfolds for Revelation, Rev 1:10 Believing Chernobyl was the 3rd trumpet could make us wonder if the 1st and 2nd trumpets were WWI & II. But didn't Christ say when you see these things...this generation shall not pass...”? Matt 24:33,34. “In the year 1840 another remarkable fulfillment of prophecy excited widespread interest. Two years before, Josiah Litch, one of the leading ministers preaching the second advent, published an exposition [of the 5th and 6th trumpets] in Revelation 9, predicting the fall of the Ottoman Empire...Allowing the first period, 150 years, to have been exactly fulfilled before Deacozes ascended the throne by permission of the Turks, and that the 391 years, fifteen days, commenced at the close of the first period, it will end on the 11th of August, 1840.” --Josiah Litch, in Signs of the Times, and Expositor of Prophecy, Aug. 1, 1840. “At the very time specified, Turkey, through her ambassadors, accepted the protection of the allied powers of Europe, and thus placed herself under the control of Christian nations. The event exactly fulfilled the prediction. When it became known, multitudes were convinced of the correctness of...Miller” whose views resulted in the Great Disappointment [Google]. Ellen White, The Great Controversy, 334,335, 1884. To the Millerites before 1844, it seemed a “fulfillment of prophecy” rather than an application, but later White wrote, “we have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn” (Counsels to Writers, 37) and she said, “Trumpet after trumpet is to be sounded,” putting them future, SDA Bible Commentary, Vol 7, 982, 1890. As a former Seventh-day Adventist, I find Ellen White insightful on Bible topics, but because of prejudice, I add her church is in apostasy as she saw it, following Israel's history of old. 5Testimonies, 211,217; and 8T 250. Saying Christ died as the Passover lamb at Passover, White wrote, “In like manner the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service.” Great Controversy, 399 This means the trumpets of Revelation 8 and 9 can have fulfillment on the Feast of Trumpets, Lev 23:24. We saw an application of this on October 1, 2008 when the new moon was in the sky as the US Senate ok'd $760 billion to banksters and the stock market crashed for 10 days. Anciently they blew trumpets for 10 days, and that was in a “shemitah [sabbatical] year” which comes every seven. 2008...2015—look out! Before the 7 trumpets*, there's “an earthquake” in Rev 8:5. Before the 7 thunders*, there's an earthquake encoded as a lion's roar in Rev 10:3. “The Lord shall roar...the heavens and earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16. This is about the Lion of Judah, Rev 5:5. An earthquake* also precedes the 7 seals*, encoded again as the lion's roar. When John heard “thunder, one of the four beasts,” a lion's “roar,” Rev 4:7; 6:1. *They're probably concurrent! I think we will see a HUGE earthquake at 1st or 2nd Passover signaled by the solar & lunar eclipse, Joel 2:31: “The sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the...day of the Lord.” Richard Ruhling

Really fast read and very enjoyable. The book deals with the Tribulation and Wrath of God as written in The Holy Bible. Dr. Gallups presents a Mid-Tribulation-Pre Wrath of God point of view and then spends the rest of the book defending his position. He has does an excellent job. I recommend this book to all, especially Christians, whether you are in a Pre-Trib Rapture mindset, Wrath of God follows mindset,or you do not believe in the Rapture. Dr. Gallups makes an excellent argument for his position and should be respected for it.

Carl puts forward his own understanding of the events in recent history from the perspective of Revelation. It's scary and exciting at the same time, that we are witnessing unprecented events leading up to the return of Jesus. I am stirred in my spirit. I couldn't put it down.
