Well made
In the process of getting rid of all plastic implements, this is well made and very handy with the long spatula.

Work of art!
I thought I was buying some grill turners. I ended up with beautiful pieces of art! I bought them all! Dexter-Russell turns out an amazing product - USA MADE! Not only do they fit the bill for any commercial food production operation, I firmly believe they will last a lifetime doing it! I am pretty sure my boys will be inheriting these..... I put olive oil on the black walnut handles and these turners are absolutely gorgeous! Showpieces! The dark wood sets off the solid brass riveting and the stainless steel....and don't worry about bending the shank - impossible! I was so tired of the garbage that was available, I told myself no more, no matter what it cost, USA made and quality. You may pay a little more for these, but I guarantee, HIGHLY WORTH IT....besides, total cost of ownership (we reviewed that for purchasing an item in my prior life) these are actually the best deal you can get because you will probably NEVER REPLACE them....go ahead and pay half for something else. You will be replacing it 10 to 1 of these. I have. I am going to buy more simply for my convenience and gifts for family. Right now, I can't think of anything better for someone who uses cast iron or grills. AMAZING! Dexter-Russell, if you are listening, THANK YOU. You have no idea how frustrating it was with constantly bent turners! I am just so happy. If you ever need somebody for words of support, happy to do so! You absolutely produce a military grade product and I wish you the best! Proud of you! USA! USA! USA!

Dexter Makes Excellent Turners for the Price.
I was introduced to Dexters by my friend who cooks a fair amount. We started using them on a large flat iron grill for making big amounts of breakfast on Sundays. We're talking multiple types of food all at once...eggs...sausage...hashbrowns....chorizo.....venison....onions.....you get the point. These turners can do the job and hold up well while doing it. I once ordered a turner made my Wustoff to match some of my kitchen knives, but returned it since it was flimsy and felt cheap. Nothing but Dexters from now on. They make good knives too. I've always been impressed by the quality and price of Dexters. They seem to have the right amount of flex and strength, but you have to make sure you get the right one for you needs. Some are meant to have different levels of flex. Every since I was introduced, I now have a few Dexter turners for myself.

A really great, high quality, fork for cooks!
This amazing fork is truly old school in that is a well-made, heavy duty, high quality fork (think lifting a 4-pound roast or a whole chicken or turkey out of the pan in which it was cooled without the fork bending or the tines tearing through the meat because they are too thin - these tines are heavy duty!). This is the fork used at the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant we recently ate at (teppanyaki chefs cook any your table and put on. show as they cook your meal). Beware of other brands that will inevitable be lighter weight or poorly constructed. This is a tool that professional chefs would be proud of.

Very stout!
Very stout blades with a great length, and a good feeling handle. As long as you take care of the wood, you'll be able to pass these down to your kids. They are that heavy duty, and made in the USA to boot! I ordered two, and one handle had a minor defect on it. It really should not have passed QC, but it'll still work just fine. The only real downside to these is they should have a lanyard/hanging hole. Replacing that end fastener with a tubular rivet would make this 5-Stars all the way

I'm becoming a Dexter-Russell spatula junkie!
I'm so glad I recently found Dexter-Russell spatulas! I already had the 5-1/2 inch spatula/turner, and it is fantastic. We decided a larger one would be better for pancakes on a griddle, so I purchased this larger, 8-inch version. Husband declares it to be the perfect tool for the cast-iron griddle, and I presume, for the grill as well. We had already determined that plastic & nylon spatulas never seemed thin enough to handle a pancake properly. Plus, they were not only bad for us, but bad for the cast iron, since they can melt. So, no more plastic spatulas for us! Since we have also gotten rid of chemical-based non-stick in favor of stainless steel and cast iron (properly seasoned), metal tools was a logical next step for us. The metal blade is thin to slip between the food and the cooking surface, and has a little flexibility to it. The corners are rounded to protect the cast iron seasoning from scratches and gouges. The stainless steel blade is smooth and pretty much non-stick naturally. I have one suggestion for you if you find that your lovely wooden handle is a bit rough: Vigorously rub the handle with a piece of brown paper sack. Grocery sack is perfect, but with diminishing availability, I use a lightweightlunch sack, or even a heavy-weight paper towel. Believe it or not, the paper acts like very fine sandpaper, and smooths out the little rough spots to a silky smoothness. Then I give the handle a light rub with mineral oil, wiping the excess off. The oil helps the handle repel moisture and keeps the wood from drying out. Occasionally, repeat this process to keep the wood looking and feeling great! Try not to put your wood or wood-handled cooks tools in the dishwasher, as it will dry out the wood, even with the heat-dry turned off. Hand-washing is recommended, and with the excellent quality of the stainless steel on this piece, clean-up is a breeze!

Great Flipper
Made in USA. Nice flipper for the money seems to be well made and has some heft. Would definitely buy more of these in the future. They are way higher quality than the blackstone grill flippers that I have. Actual wood handle is nice.
