Easy-to-Use Remote Timer for Long Exposures
I picked up this JJC Digital Timer Remote Shutter Cord, and it’s been a great addition to my photography gear. It’s easy to set up and use, and it works perfectly for long-exposure shots, time-lapses, and self-portraits. The buttons are straightforward, and the screen is clear, making it simple to adjust settings. The build quality feels solid, and the cord is a good length—not too short, not too long. It also locks in securely, so there’s no worry about accidental disconnections while shooting. Battery life has been great so far, and I love that it lets me fine-tune exposure times beyond what my camera allows. Beep Drives Me Crazy
Recently purchased this remote for use with my OM Systems OM-1. Everything works as advertised. However, what they don't tell you is that it forgets all settings when you turn it off. I could live with this, except for that darn beep. Unfortunately, the beep defaults to on. Yes, you can turn off the beep, but you have to do it every single time you turn it on. That, I can't live with. I even went so far as to take it apart in the hope that I could disable the speaker by cutting a wire. But, there are no wires; it's just all traces on a circuit board. So, I gave it 3 stars because it does work, but for me it's unusable because of the beep.

Handy. Easy to operate.
Inexpensive accessory for remotely triggering the camera. Particularly useful for long exposures. Lightweight and compact. Also does interval exposures.

I ordered the release that fits the OM-D E-M1 II and it seems to work fine. I haven't used all the functions yet, but I primarily just wanted a remote release and this fills the bill adequately.
