I purchased the original Ove Glove quite a few years ago. It worked well and has served it's purpose for many years. It is still useable but probably slightly less effective after multiple washings and normal use. I had always wished that I had purchased a pair rather than a single glove. When I saw these Gulife Oven Gloves for sale as a pair, I thought they sounded perfect. I hoped that these would be as good as my faithful old Ove Glove. I am absolutely impressed by the quality and construction of these gloves. They are actually much thicker and heavier duty than my original Ove Glove. They also have the improved feature of the silicone added to the front and back of both gloves and this helps with grip. Anyone who may have doubts about these gloves being an inferior copy of the original, I can assure you that these are of excellent quality and are very effective. These are infinitely better and safer than trying to use a towel or pot holder. I highly recommend this product.

We really loves these oven gloves precisely as they are gloves and not mittens. Because they are gloves, it is easier to handle things and to take things out of the oven. The gloves protect her hands from hot items better than practically any other glove or mitten that we have tried before. The design of the silicone grips permits a good grip on pans, pots, etc. The attached loop to each glove allow them to be easily hung from hooks in the kitchen. Even though these oven gloves are one size fits all, they fit both my wife's hands well even though she is a petite woman as well as my average stature hands. All in all, these gloves are great and well worth the price.

I've gone through just about every type of oven mitt there is. The "old fashioned, material" style always tend to wear through without me realizing until I reach for a pan and it burns the heck outta my hand in one teeny spot on the oven mitt! And the silicone style are great for protecting your hands from the heat, but not exactly flexible. I have very small hands, and they always end up feeling bulky and cumbersome, making it hard to handle hot items (especially cookie sheets). These glove style oven mitts are PERFECT! They are slightly roomy on my small hands, but they're flexible enough to make even grabbing a baked potato off the oven rack a cinch! I also liked that the company followed up with me via email following my Amazon purchase of their oven glove with recommended washing instructions, etc. That was such a great touch! I would highly recommend these. They're sturdy and well made, and they really do the job.

Came in very handy for Thanksgiving. I almost returned them because they looked to large for my wife, but after putting them on my hand, there would be no way I could fit into a smaller glove. The fit was very tight for my hands which are regular sized male hands. I was able to hold trays that came right out of the oven, from the bottom without feeling extreme heat. Overall good quality. Just through out every other oven glove :) I gave this a 4 star only because it was a tight fit and I they could be a bit longer up the wrist/forearm.

Visited a relative that uses these for all baking and grilling. H says these are safer than regular pot holders. She was right! I came home and ordered these. Wow, I hate to tell her these are much better than hers! I have not burned my hand once, since I got these. They are thin enough to grab any pan from the oven. The grill is super hot, but these work there, too. I have used them to move racks around with ease and move hot grill pans from one side to the next without fear of burns. I highly recommend these to anyone who cooks, and does not have asbestos hands. :)

I have medium sized hands. I wear a size 7 or medium glove. The pic shows you just how big these gloves are - huge! They are too large for me to safely use - my hands want to slide out of them. My husband is 6'3" with large hands so they work OK for him, although they are even roomy for him. He is pleased with how they protect his hands when getting hot items out of the oven, and being a left-hander he likes the fact they are ambidextrous. The silicon stripes add good grip to whatever hot item he's handling. One drawback he states is that the inside is a poly cotton, and if his hands are even remotely damp, they bunch up with this inside lining, and the lining tries to come out with his hands when he takes his hands out of the glove.....so a lot of fiddling required - or very dry hands. Not sure I can really recommend them unless you have big hands. They just simply do not fit or "work" if you have average or small hands - even taking into account the bulk in them from the double layer construction.

These are not driving gloves or cold weather gloves therefore shouldn’t fit your hand snugly like those! These are big for quick on/off in the kitchen. I have very small hands and I LOVE these! Thought nothing could replace my old Ove Gloves I had for 20+ years but were finally ready for retirement. Sooooo glad I got these! I’m a professional baker in a very busy kitchen and sometimes I will have to wait for an employee to pass in front of me while I’m holding a tray of hot cookies or cake layers before I can put them on the speed rack. Can’t feel one bit of heat through these gloves. Haven’t given them the 15-minute test but if you’re walking/standing with something hot for THAT long I’d say invest in some counter space or a more organized room in general! Fantastic buy; worth every penny. Will purchase again for home.

I purchased the 'medium' size. I am male, 5'9", with, I assume, 'medium' size hands. These gloves may be slightly large on me. My wife also likes them, agreeing that having fingers helps to grasp the hot pan or other item. I use them to transfer my very hot iron skillet from the stove-top into the oven, where I broil the skillet for ten minutes, and then remove back to stove top. Works perfectly. Of course, one is not to stroll about holding a blazing hot pain, but for the few moments I am holding the skillet, no heat at all. Highly recommended.
