l'Abeille Occitane "Boules Fourrees Miel" Lavender Honey Drops - 7.1 oz.

First the good news. This candy is delightful and highly addictive. I have to try REALLY hard to stop eating it. I know it is bad for me, but I can't stop it. I keep it hidden deep inside my drawers so I can't even see it on most days. Second, the bad news. The outer shell is made of sucrose so the outer shell is essentially a hard shell candy. The honey inside is rather spartan and it merely adds to the flavor. You can say this is a glorified hard shell candy. Pros: 1)Tasty and addicting. Unlike anything else I have really tried. 2)I keep chewing on it when I know savoring the flavor is the best way to eat it. I guess I am just impatient. 3)How do I keep myself from eating this? Hide it from myself! Cons: 1)Expensive. For one bottle of this, I could buy a whole whopping 4 gallons of fuel for my car. 2)Not healthy at all. The outer shell is made of sucrose, which is essentially a hard shell candy. 3)Where is the honey? There are some, but not so much.

Like many reviewers, I was expecting a lavender flavor until I read the ingredients. The candy has lavender honey, not lavender-flavored honey, in the center which really does not have a distinguishable taste from honey obtained from other flowers. So what you're getting is a hard sugar candy containing 25% honey. There is no lavender flavor whatsoever. The candy itself is about the size of a Lemon Drop. It's hard on the outside and soft on the inside. It tastes like sugar until you get to that honey inside after which it tastes like simple honey. I liked the candy more than I thought I would. However, I don't know if I could justify the cost on regular basis.

They tasted great. You don't get too many for price. My jar had slight crack in it. They dont except returns though.

UPDATE- I got these for $15 and now they’re very overpriced, it’s a small jar not worth all that tbh they taste amazing but damn Honestly the only complaint I have is you could get a bigger jar lol, the sweet taste of pure honey once you get to the middle is something I’ve never tasted before. Lavender wasn’t too strong which is perfect. Will be buying again I just wish it came with more cause I can’t stop eating them

I purchased two jars. One arrived perfect & is delicious. One jar arrived and the drops appear inedible - discolored, very stale looking. Plus the freshness seal was broken. I tried to find a way to report this to the vendor hoping they would replace the jar for me, but they do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason. This is the only means to hopefully contact the vendor.

I really wanted to like this product, despite the reviews. It wasn't disgusting or horrible, it just wasn't anything special. I agree that the product is overpriced and barely tastes like lavender. The seal isn't reassuring that the product hasn't been tampered with. That really needs to be evaluated for safety reasons. Because so many people also had this issue, they just threw away the bottle without trying. I took a chance and tried it. The company needs to consider adding a tamper proof seal to the packaging. And a hint more lavender, please.

These Lavender Honey drops are so delightful. They are packaged well so I can leave them on my dresser and grab one every now and again. They come in a glass jar that screws tight so you can keep them sealed. They are not cheap so I would definitely keep them in a safe spot so they don't get eaten right away. I would like more for the amount they cost but nonetheless they are still delicious. I absolutely recommend these.
