A life saver
I am so glad I bought this. My husband and I visited Canon Hall Farm one day, and I was still recovering from a back injury. I bought this as I knew from a previous visit that it was very tiring and there was little seating within the farm itself. This walking stick/chair saved the day for me. It enabled me to use it as a rest when walking, and provided me with a seat when resting against it was not enough. I am still not 100% but glad I have this for my holiday in a few weeks.

just what is needed, a folding chair and walking aid in one
I like the dual purpose of this stick chair. I can use it as a walking aid and then open it up for a rest if necessary. Helps when having to stand in a queue when my back becomes very painful

Lightweight, comfortable but with issues.
I have mixed feelings about this chair.Pros:- Lightweight (so can actually be used a cane) and looks compact despite that it opens up to a large size.- The blue colour is stylish.- Comfortable to sit on for long periods.- The frame is solid.- Holds on to the floor due to rubber caps and is stable.- Has a generous seating base for a travel chair or cane.Cons:- It looks stable and sturdy, but it certainly doesn’t feel that way when sat on. Every time I sit on it, I need to check that it’s opened as it should be and stable.- The design of the backrest is flawed – the base is fabric and so works as a hammock, so my back never touches the backrest and even if I push myself towards it, it provides no support whatsoever.- The backrest and base are made out of mesh fabric and I’m not sure if it’s durable.I only deducted one star for these issues – I think I need to overcome the feeling that I’m going to tip over when using it and trust it. It is a sturdy generous chair that is super lightweight for what it is too.If this review helped, please click on the ‘helpful’ button to let others know! Thanks ツ

Comfortable seat and walking assist
My father is really pleased with this, saying it's sturdy, and comfortable both for walking with and as a seat.Recommended

Folding chair that fails to fully deliver.
I ordered this chair as I love going for walks with my Grandad, he is an active 81 year old but does like the odd sit down on our travels. I thought this is an excellent idea in providing seating when required with the added bonus of help with walking without a walking stick.Chair arrived neatly boxed and is very compact in close position, no assembly is required. After removal from box first thing I noticed is how light this product actually is, no effort at all in handling. It is also very easy to open up and collapse without reading complex instructions.Great design for occasional use only, not a substitute to walking stick. The chair itself although solid doesn't feel safe when first sitting down, not ideal for uneven surfaces.Big negative has to be its very low back support, prevents you falling backwards but offers no comfort when sitting down. After using this chair I would definitely not be buying another one to make a pair.I would not recommend this product for elderly, best suited for camping or festivals.Overall, excellent idea but not practical or comfortable to use.

Ingenious and helpful
I have given this to my 89 year old father. He still likes to walk, but can only do this with some support. This clever idea doubles as a substantial walking stick/support and he can then fold it easily into a chair on which to rest. It's lightweight, strong and easy to use. It's also fairly compact so stores well, even in a small car boot. It can also be used as a picnic chair to when traipsing long distances at a kids' rugby tournament, to rest tired parents. Recommended.

Unstable and really not heavy duty
I got this chair as I thought it would be a perfect product for my grandma, which get tired really easily and needs alsready a support while walking. Well, I wouldn't give it to her, because it might cause more damage than help. The chair is really light and has two pairs of handles - one in back, which allow you to use it as a walking stick, one in front to support you while getting up. It's easy to open it and close it. And here the positives end.The construction is made of alluminium, so it's really light, but build quallity doesn't feel good at all. It's wobbly and if you put more pressure for example on the front handles while getting up, the construction moves and you have a feeling, it will just bend. The backrest is super low and if you try to rest your back, you will just fall back, as there is no way how this thing would support you. Maybe if you are one meter tall kid.If you try to use it as a walking stick, you have to pressure only in one point of the handle, otherwise the construction wobbles in all ways, which is really dangerous. The chair is extremly uncomfortable even for 70 kg person.Avoid this product.
