New Balance Men's 574 V2 Evergreen Sneaker

I'm pretty sure new Balance came to my house while I was sleeping and took exact measurements of my feet and sculpted these shoes just for me. They fit like a glove. What I love about these is that they are relatively flat on the bottom like all my skate shoes I've worn for years but hidden inside the shoe is tons of heel support and a nice cup sole that really hugs my back of my feet. I bought these for retail work and I've spent about six hours in these guys standing and the insoles that come with this are okay for light jogging and walking around but I need more gel support so I will be swapping them for Dr Scholls. But all in all excellent shoe. Go to a local retailer and try on a pair before you buy to get the right size.

I have been buying NB 574 shoes online for the last couple years and always have two pairs, one for work and one for home/going out. I got two pairs of the "Neon Pack" in different colors. They look pretty cool, and I was surprised to find that the "stitching" areas are just printed on the shoe- it is really just one piece! No problem there, except they don't breathe as well as a pair with a mesh/nylon upper. It's summer now, and my feet are getting sweaty. I just bought a different shoe that has a lot of mesh for working in the summer, and I'll save these for the winter.

One of my favorite packs from NB! I love 574s but for some reason some pack's sizes run different. Like tropical fishes and woven packs run small, and pendant runs a little big. I wear 13 but if I would've know all this I'd go with a 12 or maybe 12 1/2...these 13s are just that little bit too big that they look long as crap lol. But I still rock em! As for the shoe theyre tight, the insole NB logo is cool, the big 574 on the back, the flag under the tongue, good colorways, the N logo on the side is all stitched....they remind me of a varsity jacket

This pair of shoes has lasted me longer than any of my other shoes (not boots). After a little over a year of wearing these everyday and throwing them in a washing machine about once a month they finally started to show some wear. I replaced the laces but other than that they still look fairly new. I have used water proofing and stain replant on them since they where new. As far as fit they are comfortable and fit well. I am on my feet about 8-10 hours out of the day.i have since bought other 574 series New Balances and they are just as good.

These are neat looking shoes and look like they will hold up but I can't give them 5 stars because of the size. I typically wear the same size in all of my running shoes(mainly Asics), but the toe box is just too small in these. Literally, versus some other retro Asics that I own, the shoe looks shorter. Nike running shoes are typically too narrow for my feet, and I don't feel like this is the problem with these. I may reorder in an 11, but I'll probably get sized in a NB retail store first. Super cheap price for the shoe though.

I've had these shoes for a few months now. They're definitely fashion sneakers, not running or exercise shoes, so I generally just wear them around the house and hanging out with friends. The nylon is even more durable than I expected - I've beaten up pretty hard on these shoes and the black parts still look nearly new. I do think the soles are starting to break down already, which I find a little disappointing given how long I hope to wear these shoes, but I am overall quite satisfied. I don't expect more than a year or two (at most) so of regular wear, but I expect they'll be comfortable and classic-looking for as long as I have them.

Toe box becomes a little tight on these if you wear any kind of orthotic or insert, and theyre suede so they take a little breaking in. I use a Birkenstock arch support and a gel heel cup and they pushed my toes pretty tightly against the box. Feeling better after breaking in, but I would have ordered a half size up had I realized how much room my inserts take up. Otherwise great shoes.

For years I've been trying to find a suitable replacement for my new balance 676s- I started with the NB minimus life casual/walking shoes last year. The soles were ground down to nothing in some spots in under a year of use, so I needed some new shoes- enter the 574s.I'm no stickler for fashion, so I keep things pretty plain and neutral. This shoe met those specs awesomely.It doesn't feel like there is a lot of support- these shoes don't seem like they're intended for walking any sort of extended distance. My first day with them I went and walked a couple miles to get a feel for them and I never got comfortable. About a month of use later I took them to a 3 day music festival which required frequent walking between venues, and my feet felt exhausted at the end of the day.However, for light to moderate use, these things are fine and I'll stick with my running shoes for doing anything extended.

Great shoe, though slightly snug across the foot - maybe my feet are just wider than the norm?!
