I love this swimsuit. I am a solid size 8 across clothing, I’m 5’8, 145, I have a little bit of a belly pooch after 2 kids. I sometimes pull off a 6 but have to work real hard to stay at that size. I am always on the cusp of size 6 or 8. So I usually go with size 8 or 8-10 for clothing, tend to level up a size.I have 3 of these in different colors now, red/green/navy. My first one was size 8-10. It fit great after looking tiny when I pulled it out and thought no way will that fit (looked too small). It stretched so nicely that it fit well and almost a little too big, maybe, I wasn’t sure. My bust is 34D so sometimes a medium vs small is based on that. But still felt great for the fit and had nice coverage. Also can’t see the cellulite through the back of it on my butt, another plus. I also liked the plain red color so decided to order that in size 6-8 to see if it would be more snug without being too small. This size also fits great and gave me just a little more tummy control.So overall, both sizes 6-8 and 8-10 both fit me around the size 8 as my typical size and I’m happy and comfortable in both sizes. I do like the size 6-8 a little more so when I ordered the navy one, I got the 6-8 size.

I bought this Fashion Womens Vintage Athletic Swimsuits Push Up Tummy Control One Piece Plus Bathing Suit Boyshort Swimwear (3XL (US Size 12-14), Retro Black) for a vacation I was going on. I wanted a modest look and this swimsuit is definitely that. I am a size 12, so I chose the size appropriate. Unfortunately, this size was too big.(Not True to size) Because it was too big it did not do what I expected. I returned this one and ordered another one in size Large. However, the material is soft to touch. The quality is worth the money.So, I reordered a size Large, I kept that one and wore it. It is a good buy, you might need to go down a size. I had to and the Large was a keeper! It did hold my lil tummy in and was nicely fit around my thighs. The bust part was a still a lil big, but not like the extra large. So what I did was tact it a lil by sewing the bra piece down a bit. My breast did not fill the bra piece as much as I would have liked. So, I made it work the best I knew how. I did get some compliments so I was pleased. I’m not that big up top but I am larger on the bottom so I needed the large. All in all it worked out. I do love the boy shorts and the crimps in the swimsuit. It dried very quickly as well that was a plus. I recommend this suit for all that’s top heavy! It would look great! It definitely is a pretty swimsuit, so try it, before you decide not to… I hope this review was helpful.

Very pleased fits nicely, flattering, I'm 140lb 5'9", I ordered a medium. Only thing I would change about it is the neck tie, I'd prefer shoulder straps.....

If you're looking for a sexy swimsuit or something with ruching to hide your stomach, you are fresh out of luck. This item absolutely does not qualify in either respect. It looks and feels like an old-timey swim costume--yes, I said, "costume" because even when it fits, it just isn't flattering. Also, if you have small breasts the padding along the chest ends up feeling extraneous. Even when I tied the straps tight so the neckline didn't sag as the boob cups filled with water, I still felt like I was cosplaying as Dolly Parton. And speaking of the straps, having the suit tie around the neck is irritating for anyone who actually wants to swim laps in the suit. Even after lowering the neckline and requesting one my nephew's most delicate Boy Scout knots, the straps cut into my neck with every stroke.I think a comparable but much better purchase for anyone who wants to look cute, hide their stomach, and swim is the Ekouaer High Waist One Piece Monokini. It still ties around the neck and you'll end up looking like a pinup girl or an American flag, depending no the design you choose, but at least you'll have a cute/flattering suit you can actually wear to the beach. (Plus, the breast pads are removeable!)With that said, I will end on a positive and say one nice thing about the swimsuit currently under review: If your goal is merely to have a long one piece for those backyard days when you've missed your bikini wax, then this suit might work. As pictured, the leg holes do come down the thigh like boy shorts, which is probably why the suit looks so odd on anyone who is tall or bigger than a size zero. Yes, the suit fits true to the size chart, but I would never wear the ugly thing in public.

I was excited to receive this suit on Christmas Eve, tried it on and it looked great! The best fit in a swimsuit I’ve ever had. Not tight, flattering, and best of all: sewn in bra pads that don’t travel around when swimming. Unfortunately my love for this suit dissolved like jello in warm water when after wearing it to the hot tub ONCE it broke out with a rash of ‘pilling’ every place my suit touched the hot tub bench or walls. It look terrible and is now embarrassing to wear. I’m sorry but a $30 swimsuit should last for more than one wear. I can’t recommend this suit to anyone who expects to actually use it for more than sunbathing. Unfortunately, after trying it on, I threw out the packaging because I thought it was great, and now I can’t return it. So be sure to keep all packaging materials and tags in case you need to return.

I love the print (I tried this from a similar listing in red and didnt like it at all, wasnt long enough to fit my torso or chest.)I will say this is a touch shorter than I prefer but I have a super long torso. But over all I feel amazing in it.I went with a 6-8 (my normal jeans size) I’m 5’4” and 144lbs 36A my chest doesnt fill the cups but I could still sit it comfortably, I might add an insert of sorts but because its so structured it makes them look filled.I got a great reaction from the wife, so its a success for sure in feel pretty in it and like it hides most of the areas I prefer to.
