Kick-Butt Wheel Cleaner!
I drive a Fiesta ST (famous for brake dust) and occasionally track an S2000, so I was tired of buying spray bottles of wheel cleaner from the local autoparts store and wanted a bulk option to refill my spray bottles with. My new question is: can I get a 5 gallon bucket of this stuff? It's great! The smell isn't terrible compared to a lot of other "iron-dissolving" cleaners (it's like bubblegum but tainted), the green sprays on and quickly turns sickly brownish-purple (other products have a prettier purple color but I don't care: the change means it's working!), and a quick horsehair-brush will make quick work of stubborn grit and properly clean away brake residue. Rinse thoroughly! The secret ingredient in this stuff, thioglycolic acid, is shared across lots of similar products, but getting this in a gallon jug is mint. Side note: Hey, Ethos? It's spelled "brake dust," not "break dust." You might want to update your packaging.

Best stuff for aluminum wheels!!
Best wheel cleaner I’ve used for aluminum. Not sure how it will do on steel wheels but I know on aluminum wheels this stuff is amazing!! If you own an Audi and have a heavy foot then you know about the ridiculous amount of brake dust certain pads, especially OEM make on these cars. After a few years I eventually gave up on having super clean wheels. Eventually they started to develop a slight yellowing in areas. I then purchased a few top name wheel cleaners, one was chemical guys wheel cleaner. They got them clean but I wasn't happy yet. I thought about repainting or powder coating them as they are 10 years old and could use it. Then a buddy at work told me to try this stuff first. I pulled wheels off and soaked them In this and gave a good scrubbing with drill attachment for wheels. My wheels turned brown from all of the in beaded iron in the aluminum. I rinsed them, repeated and WOW! Cleanest I’ve seen them in 8 years! Definitely now holding off a few more years before refinishing them! This is now my go to and always make sure I have it. Advice would be to keep the area saturated with water constantly while scrubbing and don’t let it get dry.

Decent value. Not the best, but fair at it's price
About 75% as effective as SONAX at 50% of the cost. May require minor agitation. Doesn't run as well through a pump sprayer as SONAX, but adequate for the purpose.

Does the Job
This is the best product I have found for my factory aluminum wheels. It doesn’t seem to work as well on the painted wheels, but made my Van Atlas wheels look like new. Already made a second order. The smell is exactly what the other reviews state, but hey if it works

not all that….
Good not Great and it never turned red. I used a brush like i always did before I brought this product and feel like it came out near the same. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the asking price and although i wont return. I wont buy again

Work 100%
This wheel cleaner is the BEST. Read the instructions and you'll be fine. I read the instructions, however, I sprayed it on my wheels and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then I sprayed it off and it works great. My rims were like new. I'm only using Ethos from this point on
