8" Plastic Cooking Oil Funnel with Attached Reusable Stainless Steel Mesh Filter, Multi

I bought this funnel to strain the worm leachate, that drains from my worm composter, into my 5 gallon storage containers.. I was finding that the leachate would clog my hose end sprayer if I did not filter it.. The screen is nice and fine and does a great job removing the tiny pieces of peat debris, and a few stray worms from the liquid... I love the fact the screen can be popped out of it's seat in the funnel, for cleaning, or totally removed.. It is chained to the funnel so you don't lose it, which is also nice.. I love the large size of the funnel, as I can pour and entire gallon slowly, of the leachate through it at a time.. And then I need to remove the crumbs from the screen.. The long neck on the funnel also helps to keep the funnel in my storage containers when filtering the leachate.. The fact that it has a wide opening about 10", also is very useful, as I have an overflow drip pan on the bottom of my worm composter, after the gallon jug gets full. And it is so much easier to dump this 14x14 drip pan into the funnel, without spilling it everywhere.. The size, and functionality, of this funnel, stability, and ease to clean, has made worming a much more enjoyable task... I would highly recommend this funnel, it is a huge improvement from my other little funnel, and strainer.

Exactly what I was looking for. Needed this to pour cooking oil back into the original containers for storage. The screen in this funnel is removable which is a plus. The screen material has a nice small weave, and it filters out the majority of debris left over from frying foods. Works perfect and cleans up super easy. Great product and I highly recommend this if you are looking for screened funnel!!

Years ago I created a product selling on Amazon which allows you to make restaurant quality chicken wings from home. I show full cooking methods including air frying, oil frying & turkey frying. After starting with the air & oil frying methods (using the smaller residential appliances) I quickly discovered I needed to find a much bigger cooking solution since my family absolutely inhales the wings. I decided to get a turkey fryer (even though I had never used one). I quickly discovered a needed a large funnel with a screen to save and re-use my oil and bought this King Kooker 8" funnel with mesh screen filter. The pot that came with my setup did not have a drain spout and reusing the oil was a huge pain. I would pour the cooled oil into this large strainer funnel, but the food chunks would quickly clog the strainer screen and the oil wouldn’t go through. The only solution was to take a spoon or knife to gently scrape the screen to allow the oil to drain. Then resume pouring again and start the whole process over. Upgrading to a pot with a drain was a huge time saver. I allow the oil to cool then set the pot on a folding table outside. I put my oil container on the ground, put this large funnel with strainer screen in between the 2 and open the drain valve. Once it’s done draining, I generally tip a little more oil out of the pot but stop pouring once it gets to that chunky sludge oil at the bottom. I rinse and pour out the chunky oil substance into a bottle with this funnel with the screen removed. Don't pour oil down your drains....they will eventually clog and you'll have a mess (and plumber bill) to deal with. Then, I stick the pot and funnel in the dishwasher for a clean wash. I’ve already used this funnel close to 80 times and it has been a huge money saver for re-using oil. I highly recommend this funnel & rice bran oil for 10+ uses! Worked fine. Very sturdy and thicker than we expected. Functions well and the filter worked well.

I read the other reviews and a lot of people say the mesh strainer doesn't stay seated. Mine fits pretty well, but I didn't use it while pouring my oil, so I can't comment on that issue. I use this with the Royal Premium oil filters, and it works great! I wouldn't use the mesh strainer anyways because it doesn't really filter the oil. My oil looks slightly cloudy,but still completely free of food residue. This is just a really large funnel that works great for funneling oil. Pretty basic, and it works.

I purchased this funnel to filter the liquid oils i use in my deep fryer to separate the food/marinade/breading from the oil for later use.

I used to dump my fryer oil after every use. And I had a large fryer. It got too expensive, so I never used it. Later I purchased a smaller fryer and this funnel to start reusing oil. Funnel fits right in the top of an empty gallon oil bottle, and the supplied mesh filter on the chain presses in place. Makes quick work of saving oil. Love it. Durable and easy to clean. A must have.

Item arrived quickly and was exactly was described. I use this for home beer brewing and is the exact size I had been looking for. This is perfect for pouring from buckets/pots into a carboy. I removed the chain on the filter for sanitation purposes. I haven't used the filter yet but I expect it might be useful if needed to remove fine sediment.

I tried the battery operated strainer and this thing works the best and its also dishwasher safe. Just gently hear you oil a few degrees and pour. Don't forget to let air into the bottle on occasion by slightly lifting the funnel.

Made nice but useless Down BOTTOM it's TOO WIDE, doesn't goes in even in normal bottles Also, down bottom DRAIN NEED A BIT LONGER for safety while filling the bottle OR MAKE IT 8" wide but NEEDED 2 things to upgrade as I (the drain has to go in the bottle, also needs longer drain for safety while draining )
