It’s simple yet fantastic. With NO instructions from me, she starts using it and understood the erase button. It only takes light pressure to make a mark. I think it’s sturdy enough to take some toddler abuse. I tried in the corner to really make a deep (and potentially damaged mark Because I know she will do this eventually) the mark took a few extra presses of the erase button but they mark went away and the surface is fine. That actually impressed me. Thrilled to have this to take with us for restaurants and appointments. It’s thing and easy to fit in any bag. I wouldn’t leave it in the car as the summer heat probably would damage it. But in my bag it’s easy to take with.
