Oboz Men's Bridger Low B-Dry Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Love this shoe. I've owned several pair over the years. They are comfortable and wear very well.

Great shoes. They take about a week to break in with the area around the laces uncomfortable. After that they are the comfortable for work and daily wear. I rarely wear tennis shoes now.I am going on my 5th pair, with each pair lasting me about 2 years, with daily wear.I get a half size larger than my Asics/New Balance running shoes.

I've had several pairs of Merrells, and Salomons, and decided to give these Oboz a try. Merrells have been my go to for support and comfort. My Salomons have all been super comfortable, and I love that they are so light - but the outsoles just don't seem to last very long. I unboxed my new Oboz and could see right away that they are a very rugged and well-built shoe. The verdict is still out for comfort though. These shoes fit me VERY snugly and they are very stiff. My feet were sore on the 1st day. This is my 3rd day wearing them, and they are starting to loosen-up and feel a bit more comfortable. I suppose they just need to be broken in. I've never had to do that with my Merrells. They always came good to go. I love the look of the Oboz and believe these shoes will last me a long time.

I have trouble with the toe box in most shoes…gets kinda cramped, toes in one foot touch the end no matter how much I size up. I even ordered some Oboz @ “regular” and had to return them. Behold…the perfect fit! Oboz makes “wide” shoes, true to size if not a little small. Ordered 13 Wide…usually take a 12…ideally 12 1/2. 13 wide did the trick. Very comfortable and good looking. Love them!

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable and have the sure footedness of a mountain goat.

Great purchase

These shoes were very painful on my feet most of the pain was directed on my big toe on both knuckles on the big toe of each foot, I only walked about 1000 feet on a sidewalk, my feet started to hurt so bad that I had to walk back barefoot, it's really unfortunate because these shoes look very well made. I very much like the style and the fact that they were water proof, but they are so stiff and rigid they were virtually impossible for me to walk in and they did seem like they were made to break in enough to ever be comfortable enough . I've never had any problems with my feet wearing sturdy motorcycle boots or ski boots, I gave these boots a 3 star because because they definitely won't work for me , now that's not saying they won't work very well for someone else? But since they caused such severe pain on the knuckles joints of my big toes that I couldn't even walk a 1000 feet in them and also after I took the shoes off my foot hurt for a couple of hours, so there's no way I could ever wear them long enough to break them in since I couldn't even walk 10 minutes in them. Like I said these shoes are made very well, but my feet need a shoe that's way more flexible, if anyone knows who makes very well made hiking shoes that are more flexible and comfortable that's what I'm looking for, since I'll have to send these back.
