This is a well designed pocket radio that has a European retro look to it. It performed well and pulled in many stations in the area. Good value for money and a great buy! My son uses it strapped to his bike, Very handy to place around the house to listen to the news while you are shaving or working around the tool shed or yard without the annoying corded headphones over your ears! The speaker is loud enough to listen from afar.

Radio was a little smaller than what I expected, but that's actually a plus (it truly is pocket size). I played with it for an afternoon working in the yard, and thus far it's a good little radio.

The bought 2 of this radio and the radio's speaker is way under power. Reception is ok but the volume is too weak. Maximum volume is barely heard it if you sit next to it. Philips used to make good radio but this one is the WORST. Try the Panasonic or Sony will be MUCH BETTER.

Bought this for my mother to take on her travels. She loved how cute and small it looked. The sound quality is very good for the small size. She liked it so much, she asked me to order two more for her siblings.

Had a hard time getting receptiion of what is usually the strongest signal in my area. Weak reception and Volume.

Zeit, mal wieder eine Produktrezension zu schreiben, ich muß eine Lanze für das Radio brechen.Was erwarten die Leute für 9 Euro? Natürlich klingt das etwas piepsig und der Lautsprecher fängt an zu scheppern, wenn man die Lautstärke voll aufdreht, es ist ein handtellergroßes Plastikradio für 9 Euro. Bestellt euch doch einen Radiobausatz und baut das Gehäuse selber. Ich bin auf das Ergebnis gespannt, wenn die neun Euro aufgebraucht sind.Außerdem ist der Empfang des Radios erstaunlich gut, genau genommen sogar erstklassig, was will man mehr? Klar, ich habe das Teil gekauft um das Kabel vom Rasenmäher zu finden (klappt übrigens erstklassig). Aber da es so gut funktioniert hat es wohl doch noch eine Zweitkarriere als Radio für die Gartenarbeit vor sich.Außerdem ist es sehr gefällig gestaltet. Wenn es jetzt noch länger als 2 Jahre hält, behält es die fünf Sterne.

J'ai quelque peu hésité à acheter cette petite radio quand j'ai lu les autres commentaires, et pourtant je me suis lancée, vu le prix et les possibilités de retour chez Amazon... Eh bien c'est une bien belle surprise !Elle est vraiment toute petite, avec la possibilité d'y accrocher une lanière (non fournie), mais pour moi elle est surtout pratique à poser n'importe où !Ensuite, pour ceux qui parlaient de mauvaise réception, eh bien sachez qu'en ville, il n'y a absolument aucun soucis, on capte très bien, et dès les deux petites piles mises dans le boitier, même pas besoin de lire la notice, elle est très facile à utiliser !Donc si vous vivez en ville, aucune hésitation à avoir !
