He transports living specimens from the Owens Valley to the lab in Sylmar for analysis. He needs good temperature control. These are much better than ice chests.So I bought one for the take-out catering orders from restaurants near a science fiction convention where I was running the Staff canteen. This unit kept the trays of food hot until dinner was served. After dinner, the left-overs were put back in the carrier with a half-tray loaded with ice to cool it all down. It cooled to a safe temperature and stayed there until it was brought out for lunch the next day.Everyone in the Hospitality Staff was amazed at how well it worked.
