Early Start Denver Model for Young Children with Autism: Promoting Language, Learning, and Engagement

This is an excellent book that discusses how and what to implement for young children with autism. Unlike Floortime, Son Rise, and other methods mentioned in some of the other reviews, there is actual research to support this approach. These authors (Rogers and Dawson) are two of the most respected researchers in the field of ASD. Highly recommend it!

Great tool

Amazing book! I'm from Brazil and English is not that easy for me ...but the book is full of examples and I started to use the ESDM with my son's pre school and therapists.

This book does an excellent job of explaining the Denver Model .... and the Denver Model makes total sense to me. I have stopped doing the things I have learned from other approaches that do little to nothing to help my little students. I now have strategies that are making a difference for them!

Excellent book so far!

I bought this book to assist me with understanding my son and how to work with him. It is very informative, going into detail about different areas that affects persons with autism. I am only at the beginning of the book(i want to make sure that i am fully understanding what is being said so i am reading it slowly) and already it has taught me a whole lot

They are all first edition. Don’t pay extre

This is not my first book on the topic and I’ve only read it once, but already profiting in my daily work. I am going over it again for a Workshop. Would definitely recommend for therapists working with ASD children and their families!!!
