Bought this, hesitantly. We adopted a rescue Staffordshire Mountain Cur mix, having no idea about the soft downy little undercoat that flitters away underneath the short top coat. We also didn't consider the size of his paws and ALLLLLLLLL the dirt and debris that those big paws collect and track into the house. Every day - EVERY SINGLE DAY - I had to wake up and sweep and mop first thing and several times throughout the day just to be able to walk on my floors barefoot and also to breathe, as I am an animal loving asthmatic. It was tedious, frustrating and overwhelming to have to sweep the entirety of the areas where re my dogs (plural) would traverse. After reading the reviews, I purchased two of these mats- one for outside the back door, and one for inside, and let me tell you, it has been a TOTAL game changer. Now, let's be realistic- no rug is going to catch every single piece of dust and fur that falls off your fur baby... However, this comes pretty close! Literally it has cut my workload by more than half, and my feet, floor and lungs have seen a HUGE difference!! I now only have to sweep once a day as opposed to several times throughout the day, and there is considerably less dirt and hair- I couldn't believe it This doggie mat really delivers and makes having a hairy family member much less frustrating and a lot less work! Dust and dirt wise, enormous difference. I no longer feel like a crappy housekeeper and dog owner and I no longer grumble to my secret self about all the extra dirt and fur that clogs my lungs and makes breathing a chore. I basically live life as a regular pet owner and do the regular cleaning expected for people that own pets. HOORAY!!! Now I can enjoy my pets (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats!) and my pets can enjoy playing outdoors, and I can stop dreading the mess that they bring when coming in from outside! I especially love that these are reasonably priced! Overall, a fantastic product that does exactly what it claims to do!

I purchased one these over 11 years ago for my new home and it is still going strong. Although the strands don't stand up like it was new, they still soak up what my pups bring in. I had purchased a different brand when I was in a store for another entry door and it moved all over, so I was real tired of constantly putting it back in place. This one does not move around. I love how cute it is too. It is so soft and thick. If I ever need another one, this is what I will buy.

This mat works well for everyday use. It also does well for single rain days. The dog's paws are typically dry by the time they step off of the mat. It will collect the mud from their paws as well. I would recommend getting the runner as it takes a few steps to ensure the paw is clean enough to not track anything on the floors especially if you have large dogs. However, if it rains a lot several days in a row, I found that the mat seems to get full of mud/water and will not clean the paw enough to keep the floors clean. I would recommend washing the mat, perhaps overnight if not being used, if it's raining a lot for a while to ensure that the mat doesn't get full. The mat is easy to wash with a rubber backing. I haven't had any issues with the mat falling apart and it's been washed several times now. It's not the easiest to vacuum, but the vacuum hose or a robot vacuum work well. Overall, this is one of the better mats designed for dogs and keeping floors clean.

I'm in awe!!! I'm in tears!!! Finally!!! I live with HUGE dogs...two of them are pretty clean and dry by nature (Rhodesian Ridgebacks)....BUT....OH! BUT, then there's my 6yr old, "perpetually damp-probably muddy-often soaked-constantly running into the door as he declares he just jumped in the koi pond!" British lab!!! Thank god he's the sweetest dog on earth because.... Oh my lord help me!!! The mud, the dust, the wet, the "tumbling-tumble fur" all over my wood floors within hours of vacuuming was making me boarder line psychotic!!! His gorgeous, thick coat...that resembles a glossy mink but can stay damp for 48hrs if he gets soaked...was starting cause problems with skin irritation because he would roll in the morning dew on the grass just go get wet! He'd never really dry! And the house always felt filthy! WITHIN ONE DAY IF OWNING THESE RUNNERS MY LIFE AND HIS ARE FORVER CHANGED! HE'S COMPLETELY DRY!!! He came in sopping wet and immediately laid down on it happily (all the dogs LOVE to lay on these thick, plush, soft mats! They seek them out to use as beds!!!). By the time he got up from his afternoon nap, HE WAS DRY!!! My husband thought I was insane when I starting yelling "OMG!!! Come! Quick! Look! It worked!!! Feel him, FEEL HIM! HE'S DRY!!!" But then he saw how well it worked and joined in the festivities!!! BEST REVIEW I CAN GIVE ANY PRODUCT IS SIMOLE: It says what it does and does exactly what it says. That is the perfect review here! The mats absorb water from even the thickest costed dogs, down to their skin, finally getting them fully dry quickly. The microfiber also wicks away and dirt and said that's in their coat, too (ie mine lab had taken a dunk in my huge natural koi pond and all the silt he kicked up that was in the water on his coat was brushed off into the mat as well...rather that drying off and then falling as dust all over my floors after he walked around, laid on the floor, etc. Thanks to these AMAZING MATS, my lab needs 1/10th as many baths (he was up to two major baths with royal jelly shampoo and heavy conditioner a week) because he's nice and dry and I can use my shedding blades and brushes to effectively groom him and then brush in leave in conditioner. It's so much better for his coat and skin...and my back! And I'm saving on all the expensive shampoo and conditioners. I'm also washing a third the number of towels as I used to...we were constantly drying him and laying towels over his bed to help absorb moisture from his coat but it never really worked. So, LESS LAUNDRY, TOO! I'm so thrilled with the two runners I purchased already (one in the kitchen and one in his favorite spot in the living room) that I'm purchasing two more to line the back of my Escalade. They dogs have the entire back section (behind the second row, third row removed) and it's covered by a WeatherTech liner to protect the car, but the car still smelled of wet dog because of the blankets we put on top of the liner for the dogs. They'd get filthy so fast and without any anti microbial properties, they'd stink up the car only days after being washed in sanitizing cycles. I'm thrilled to put these next two runners in there and see how they work. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AND MOST EXCITED REVIEW I'VE EVER GIVEN ANY PRODUCT!!! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!! And guess what?! I paid for them! I WAS NOT "given these products in exchange for my honest review"! I PAID FOR THEM OUTRIGHT AND I'M STILL DOING CARTWHEELS!!!

These were recommended to me by several friends and I was hesitant to order. I wanted runners which were about $80 each and I needed two. From all the rain I was having, so much dirt was being tracked in by my 2 dogs. When I swept (sometimes twice daily because I like to go barefoot in the house) I often thought I should put the dirt back outside! My thoughts? FABULOUS! Seriously, still raining almost daily and when I sweep, very minimal dirt! Dirty Dog Mats are worth every penny!

The rug is soft and size is perfect for the doorway and lays flat against the door frame. It is thick and catches the dirt well and the color is a good match for my home. Its a nice rug and so glad I purchased.

Really grabs the dirt and moisture of my dogs paws, I have one by every door and it cuts my mopping time by 90%. Also works for my shoes as I come in from a wet outside
