You don't need 2 check valves. **Q: Should welding flashback arrestors be installed at the torch end or at the regulators?** A: Hot Max Model 24011 flashback arrestors are meant to connect to the torch end (between the hoses and the torch). The arrestors that are meant to go at the regulator end are Hot Max Model 24010. Many commercial businesses require them to be installed on both ends. **Q: Has anyone using this and the regulator end arrestor experienced increased backfires, possibly due to pressure drop? How did you compensate for it?** A: If I adjust the regulators at flow (while I'm bleeding the lines) to suggested pressure, I don't get any popping/backfires due to low flowrate (I assume that's what your question means).
