We held a team event and tie-dyed about 24 youth shirts using these kits. We use a total of 5 kits and had plenty of dye to go around. I recommend purchasing an additional red dye if you are doing a few shirts, the red goes quickly. The die coloring turned out vibrant after washing the shirt. This was my first time tie dying shirts, so I followed the directions and the shirts turned out so perfectly. Definitely worked better on the cotton tanks over the ribbed ones.

Bought this to do a few tie dyes with my family for the holiday and they had so much fun. The gloves provided are always huge so I got my own small gloves that fit the kids a little better. Definitely BUY ANOTHER BOTTLE OF RED per kit. We were able to dye about 8 t-shirts with 2 packs. It also comes with some iron on decals and some jewels which are pretty cute

This is a great tie dye kit. I used this to make a few patriotic shirts. I am plus size and this kit was enough for me to dye two XL tank tops, an XXL t-shirt, and a baseball hat. I still have a bottle of dye mix leftover, so you can get several projects out of this kit. I let my dye sit overnight for 24 hours and the colors came out vibrant.

It was pretty easy to use. It came with informative instructions the disappointment came after washing. The tie die colors were extremely light.

We were able to dye 11 pieces of clothing(6 kids shirts and 5 onesies). If you are purchasing to make several Adult shirts, I would recommend getting 2 of these kits or a separate red kit as there was not enough red dye in this kit. I wish I would have listened to the reviewers before me about there not being enough red dye in this kit to do their shirts. I would also recommend putting masking tape with the names of the color over each bottle of dye as they look virtually the same once each colored cap is taken off. It was very easy to use, you just add water to the dye and there were no specific directions to prep the shirts other than getting them a bit damp. Some dyes require a soda ash soak but this dye kit didn’t require that. No matter how hard we shook the dye bottles there was still a sediment deposit(like little speckles of dye) on the shirts. It was fine and was washed out during the rinse and wash process. Overall I would buy this kit again but remember to add an extra bottle of red dye to my order!
