I wish I'd bought one of these years ago. It strips corn kernels off the cob with ease and much faster than using a knife. It also produces fewer part kernels. Comfortable to hold. Simple to use. However, as others have said, the serrated edge is very sharp.

After trolling through umpteen descriptions and reviews of these corn strippers, decided a good grips the best option. This stripped the corn easily, quickly and without any mess. Really easy to hold as well. Excellent product.

I bought this to use with lemons and limes specifically, but I've also used it to peel potatoes and carrots. Both sides are very sharp and practically glide through fruit and veg. The handle may be a little short for someone with bigger hands though.

Bought this as a fan of Ox0 gadgets and having read a review warning that it worked but the reviewer had cut herself on first use. Spot on review. Me too. I'll be more careful next time.

I wanted to pare some Sicilian lemons very finely without any pith to make Limoncello. This peeler was perfect.

Great tool for making marmalade preparation just so simple.

Yes, it’s obviously sharp, needs to be to do the job and so you need to take care. But it comes with a blue protective plastic film on the blade and, despite being really careful (or so I thought!) I cut myself just getting that off. It did work really well taking the zest off in slices, once I’d bandaged myself up, much quicker than a “planer” type zester but I’m now a bit scared to use it.
