Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for Canon CL-211XL 2975B001 (1 Color)

These remanufactured cartridges are a constant dilemma. As most know by now through past experience or reading the reviews or merely reading the warnings on the box, these are not ALWAYS going to perform flawless like the much more expensive Canon OEM cartridges recommended. Canon has cleverly programmed their machines to dislike the cartridge, often rejecting it via shut downs or phoney warnings that you're out of ink when you're not at all. You have to learn to over-ride the warnings and reset the printer by holding down the STOP button for at least 5 seconds , or until the alarm light goes off on your printer. The last time I ordered from this company, I dropped in one black, one color cartridge and they worked almost like normal for a good long time. Recently, I couldn't get either the black or color cartridge to work, so I took them out and moved on to the next set that worked. I saved that "bad" set and will try them again next time I'm truly out of ink, as you never know if it's the cartridge or the machine or the way it's sitting in there. Sometimes you need to "re-sit" the cartridge severa times to get a good "read" and get it to work.. Yes, I should have returned it, but the process is a hassle for such a small thing.December 4, 2013 Update: I decided to downgrade my recommendation a bit as I just re-tried the "bad" set of 1 color and 1 b&w cartridge I spoke of above and they are definitely dry as can be. I won't bother calling the manufacturer, even though they are good about replacing the product, it takes too long and it's a hassle, so I'll declare these dead and toss them. Honestly, no matter which remanufactured product you select, there is probably not going to be any kind of guarantee they will work. Each cartridge is a crap shoot I have found. I just discovered another remanufactured cartridge vendor on Amazon who has a 4 star rating, so I'm going to give them a shot. If I have the same hit and miss problems, I will probably go back to my old system of replacing printers when the ink runs out as I can buy another printer with cartridges cheaper than I can replace the ink! It's a shame, but true.

Just refill your old ones yourself --

Badly needed ink for my printer and OEM cartridges are just too expensive to purchase on a frequent basis. This remanufactured ink cartridge works just fine. At first it shows an error on my pc saying the ink cartridge is empty, but all I had to do was the power button and ink button at the same time and it reset the error. Works just fine.

The difficulty with these cartridges is, once the Canon printer discovers the cartridge is LOW it automatically rejects the cartridge, however much ink may remain, to continue, demanding a replacement and always directing me to BUY NOW. Three cartridges may easily equal 1.5 cartridges or perhaps a bit better. Cheaper and better than buying one or more at an office store.

The only issue is that my printer won't recognize the cartridge as new. Other that that works just like the new ones. It is not worth the extra money to me to see the little light go out...when it starts fading on the prints...I just change it out.

Decent ink cartridge replacement.Sometimes the "out of ink" warning does not work correctly, but not a big problem. You know when you have run out of ink by the print quality.It seems to me that this generic, replacement cartridge lasts almost as long and prints almost as many pages as the "real" Canon cartridges, but for less cost. Worth it.

These replacement cartridges have always performed properly and are well worth their economical prices in comparison to the original Canon inks. Always well satisfied with these cartridges.

Purchased both color and black remanufactured ink for my Cannon printer.First time I tried printing I got an alert that the black ink was running low??So, I removed and replaced the black cartridge about 3 times with the same result.Prints O.K. right now but does that mean I will very soon run out of black ink?
