Right Price, great value
====2017 UPDATE======= I have been using this stand for years now, and has taken all sorts of blows and wear, but it's still kicking. One of the washers broke off, the heads that screw in the poles are slightly cracked, the base pad on one leg slid to the side from sitting in the hot summer heat of my car. I hardly ever disassemble this stand, and it's gotten slightly bent because of it -- however it easily bends back. I'm amazed I'm still using this 20 dollar laptop stand. It's survived a ton of being tossed around in car trunks and being dropped. I may be graduating to something that travels better soon though. ================== I use a Numark Mixtrack Pro 2, and while the stand doesn't fit as well under the controller as some pictures on the internet would have you believe, it does sit up well on the "feet" of the stand. I also purchased some rubber bumpers with my order, and I'm still waiting for them to come, and I imagine with those it will be a better fit and sturdier if at all propped up. I put some duct tape on the lip of the feet in order to create a little friction to hold the controller in place. The construction is solid, set up and tear down is pretty easy, not as easy as some, but you're not going to get everything from a 25$ stand. I keep all the little bits in a plastic bag, otherwise people may find themselves losing washers from the stand. I have a pretty large and heavy HP Probook 4520s, and have an extended life battery. Thing has to be one of the heaviest laptops among me and my friends. There are no issues with the stand stability, I can't say I was absolutely mashing the keyboard or finger drumming, but I did some serious finger strikes and no issues at all. I even had the stand on the second highest setting (it was stable on the highest, but it was slightly high for me. I really like the eye level control that this stand offers. I highly recommend this stand, and have no qualms about quality of build or parts. If there are any long term wear issues I will update this, but otherwise I'm extremely happy with my investment on this product.

Bought for DJing but use it regularly for my laptop in my room now.
I bought this stand last minute for a party that I had to DJ for. It was my first time DJing so I do not have top of the line equipment. This is from an amateur point of view. When I first started practicing the fact that I had to look down at the laptop in order to see what's going on in Serato DJ was annoying. It also would hurt my neck/back. A simple google search/common sense said to get a laptop stand but not just any stand would work. I would need to have a stand that had the adjustability of making it higher or lower, very sturdy, and build quality is good for the price. This product has all of the things I needed. I regret not taking pictures of the me DJing but I was way too nervous. This stand actually improved my DJing that night. My laptop was right in front of me and did not have to bend down at all to see my screen. It arrived in my house in a heavy box, in which I was not expecting, which gave me the first impression that this product quality is good so far. I opened it up and there is the equipment with a sheet of instructions. Very straight forward and you shouldn't be confused how to set it up. Within 3 minutes I had it set up and this stand would not tip over at all, which assures me that my laptop is safe on it. Although the heigh adjustability is annoying to do but it takes a couple minutes at most to just do it. But overall the building process was quite easy. However, I'm also a tech geek who uses a tablet, laptop, and a computer simultaneously. The way how I have this stand set up on my desk is to the left of me on the lowest height. This allows me to multi-task my work e-mail / stream watching while doing doing more work on my main computer in front of me. This was a 2 for 1 deal that I do not regret buying. Build Quality: 10/10 Installation: 9/10 Adjustability: 8/10 Sturdiness: 10/10 Would I recommend this to others? Wether for DJing or person use? Definitely.

Good enough for the price point
This stand is perfectly fine for the price. I bought a few of these so my wife and kids could put their laptops at a reasonable height while we're all working and attending school from home. I've had one nice anodized aluminum $35-ish one for a few years and really like it. But I wasn't sure what height would be right for them, and these are adjustable. Also, as these are not permanent, they can break down and store in a small space, unlike the milled one-piece aluminum or steel options. On the negative side, the smallest setting seems to be a bit too high for my family, so I've had to take a hacksaw and cut off one segment from each of the four legs on each of the three stands I bought. The good news is that with this design, you can do that no problem. But it was a lot of hacksawing. I'm not sure why they made them so tall. The tallest setting would be for someone who is like 8 feet tall if they were sitting at their desk. Perhaps the company wants people to use these as a "standing desk" solution for their laptops. If so, then it's a height that could work, but you're probably going to want two of them b/c when you do a standing desk, you're supposed to alternate standing and sitting every thirty minutes and you're not going to want to take this apart and put it back together every 30 minutes in the middle of the work day. If you want to use it as a standing desk, I'm also not sure it's going to be sturdy enough. The angle of the thing means that the computer is approaching the tipping point while standing. Don't type hard! Pros: --cheap --sturdy enough, for sitting certainly --adjustable --legs can be cut to size you want Cons: --even the lowest setting is taller than almost all of the "one piece" laptop stands. Not sure why they designed it this way. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

6.3 inch is the height of the front end. It is too high for the screen that is at the back end.

So stand arrived today, the image on Amazon is not the stand that is sold. Amazon very good to resolve this by return and refund. Having a look at the item, in the box I had 3 legs and the Bly one top! So no good to anyone
