Commander Toad and the Big Black Hole (Paperstar Book)

CT and the Big Black Hole is the BEST - brave and bright, bright and brave! I've never met a kid from 3 on up who didn't love it. And of course any adult who's seen "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" (does this include must of the adult population of the U.S.?) can't help laughing at the space ship "Star Warts" and "Jake Skyjumper," plus the rest of the crew. My son fell in love with this book when he was 6, and the house has never been without a copy since then (he's 33 now...). A superb read-aloud and a wonderful early reader.

We love this series even though it older it is very funny and still relevant!

My grandson loves listening to his father read this story to him. This series is engaging and delightful. Star Trek and Star Wars fans will recognize references to favorite characters or scenes. My children loved to read them as simple chapter books and loved the puns and word play
