Herco HE92 Silver Cleaning Cloth

I recently noticed my flute had nasty, grayish/black stains on it (tarnish). I had neglected to properly wipe down my flute for a while, so I knew it was definitely overdue. I tried this cloth and it immediately took ALL the stains off and left it super shiny! I really wish I had taken a "before" photo of the footjoint, which was the absolute worst, but I was so excited about how easily it removed the tarnish that I got carried away and cleaned the whole thing at once. Seriously, it makes my flute look new again - with the exception of the tiny little nooks and crannies that my fingers couldn't reach. I guess I could try wrapping a cotton swab or toothpick in the cleaning cloth to reach those places? Anyway, I will try to add a photo in which you can see how much black stuff came off the footjoint alone, after the very first use! It did leave dark stains on my hands, but they came off easily with soap and water. My thumbs were also a little sore from all the wiping, but my flute looked pretty bad, so I had to wipe it a LOT (about 15-20 minutes)! I'm sure if I'm more responsible and take a minute or two to wipe down my flute after every use, it will be faster and easier to keep it looking shiny and new all the time. Anyway, I'm super happy with this product. When it gets worn out, I will definitely buy it again!

People said it was amazing, east to use. I was stunned at how easy it was to clean a silver plated flute that had black tarnish on alot of it. Just rub gently or wipe gently but firmly and poof the tarnish is now on the cloth! Really made my older flute go from yard sale junk to display case impressive, I really still can't believe how well this worked! (They recommend balling up the cloth, but I just used small portions of it to rub. I used maybe 5% of the cloth area for a flute... Good deal IMO word of caution if you are cleaning a flute don't buy the silver wipes #1 they can leave too much residue and #2 you can't return it.

I played flute in middle school and sporadically through high school, but didn’t take good care of my flute like I should have. I had years of tarnish built up, so much so that the flute was near unrecognizable. While it is a little difficult to get into all the nooks and crannies, this worked very well. It was easy to use and cleaned my flute up in minutes. I didn’t scrub super hard though, as my flute is silver plated and I read that hard scrubbing might take that off. I highly recommend this still!

The shipping on this cloth was surprisingly quick, which was very nice. The cloth arrived exactly as described and is a high quality cloth--a very good value for the price paid. I used the cloth almost immediately to polish a Gemeinhardt flute that has not been polished or regularly played for over ten years. The cloth did a really great job shining up areas that were clearly dirty. However, there were a few problem areas that did not seem to want to shine. I don't think that this was a reflection on the cloth's quality however, but rather just the use of the instrument over time. I may purchase an additional cleaner, though, to see if I can shine the flute up a little bit better. Overall, I would definitely purchase this cloth again and would recommend it!

My 15 year old daughter has had her flute for 5 years and we never cleaned it. I was getting disappointed in how dull it was starting to look. When she started using the Herco silver cleaning cloth, I could tell in seconds that her flute was looking better, and after she finished cleaning it, (WOW)! It looked as good as new! I think that she has use that same cloth 4 or 5 times now, and it continues to work! very good product, and I would order it again

Wow! I thought I had gotten my solid silver flute clean with another type of cloth, but I was so wrong! This cloth quickly removed years of tarnish. Heads up - some will transfer to your hands while you are cleaning so wear some cotton or nitrile gloves. Following the tarnish removal, I was able to use my polishing cloth to bring out the shine on my beautiful William Kincaid model Gemeinhardt flute. I am so very glad I bought this product. If you buy this cloth, be sure you read the back of the package for a friendly little message about product wear and tear. This company has a charming communication style.

I love this product! The cloth is slightly saturated with the silver cleaning solution and provides a natural quality polish to my indtrument. I've only had the cloth for a couple of weeks, yet anticipate it would last forinstrument. months. Now my flute has a healthy glow!

Completely by my own neglect, my flute had become incredibly tarnished. This silver polish has completely restored my flute back to its lovely classic silver. So happy with my purchase!!
