Excellent boom for the buck.
Another Amazon customer bought these Koss headphones along with a set of Parts Express retro Walkman-style headphones with the metal head band. The customer popped the mediocre phones off the Parts Express frame and popped the Koss ear cups on in their place, and so did I. Voi-la! High quality and super-retro, super comfortable vintage headphones! I flexed the Parts Express metal headband backward against the curve to "ease the squeeze" on my skull and, because of the ingenuity of the Amazon customer, I now have a set of quality headphones I can wear for hours while I run scales on my Fender P-bass without bothering the family. My musical tastes run to classic rock, classic metal, symphonic, reggae, country, classic r&b, and old jazz. I think the sound quality is great, with plenty of low end and sparkling highs. By the way. These Koss headphones out of the box with the, ahem, ear clips, are only tolerable without the Parts Express frame swap. Wearing the ear clips, I felt like I had Dumbo ears, found myself pressing the headphones against my ears--which would be fine if I had an extra pair of arms! If I jogged with them on, I think the headphones would bounce annoyingly against my ears. Anyway. Great sound for the price. I will definitely buy these again if they break.

Perfect for daily use and performs above its price pool three times over
These clip-on earphones have been just the thing I've been looking for and I use them almost every day now. I've never been one to really get deep into audio, since earbuds hurt the inside of my ear and over-ears get sweaty and tight. Up until now, I gave up on finding good quality headphones that looked good and were comfortable. For someone with sensitive ears, they're amazing. The adjustable clips rest over your ears, with the drivers to sitting against your ear. There’s no pressure, no insertion, they don’t fall off, and they're incredibly light. I've worn these for hours at a time and most of the time I forget they're even there. I like being able to hear whats around me so these are perfect. They're really open and I have been able to have full conversations with music playing. Even still, they haven't had much sound leak out of them unless I'm playing really loud. The sound stage feels surprisingly airy and open for something so small and cheap, and don't have the "in your head" feeling of noise canceling or typical closed backs. You won’t get any boomy sub-bass. The headphones are too small and for $20 you won't find anything this quality with sub-bass. What you get is punchy, clear, and deep bass for what it is. While sometimes I do miss the thump of a good sub, I'm more than happy listening to any kind of music with bass. Unfortunately, the build quality is where these headphones are lacking. The cable is a basic cheap non-detachable rubber wire. The housing is pretty cheap plastic too. I've already had to replace one pair because the left ear piece gave out on me. But at this price, and for the audio quality, you can't really ask for much more. For $20 I have no problem replacing them the next time they break, and they also have lifetime warranty. KSC75s have an amazing community surrounding them and modding them to make them even better. There's a huge modding scene making changes for more bass, cable replacements, headband conversions, and plenty of other things to improve on the design. You won't find anything better for the price and these will out preform most other headphones double or triple its cost. These headphones have been amazing to use over the time that I've found them and I'll probably keep buying them after something inevitably happens to mine.

Good sound for the price
I have been buying the Koss KSC75s for many years now. This review is on my 5th pair in about 17 years. They're on-ear and open-back, so they're not suffocating while allowing me to hear what's around me. They've been affordable enough that when they wear out after a few years, I do not feel bad about buying another pair. I've enjoyed them ever since the Panasonic versions went out of production. I do believe these fit better due to having a larger ear pad Pros: * They're light on the ears, though they can pinch your ears until you adjust the wire along the back; it does flex a good bit. * They have pretty good bass for their size. Music sounds pretty good; no overblown lows, nor washed out midtones, all while retaining highs. * 3.5mm connector with a reasonable length cable (around 3 ft/1m) Cons: * They may not fit your ears well out of box. Every new pair, I have to adjust the ear clip for the left one to not cause pain in my outer ear after wearing for prolonged periods of time. Luckily the wire is adjustable * Cable wears out after about 3 or so years. The material the cable is made out of will become hard after a few years of contact with things like skin. This ultimately leads to the wires breaking inside the cable and one ear losing sound. I figure you can delay this by wiping down the wires regularly

stylish, comfortable, affordable, and pretty good audio quality
my cat knocked my AKG headphones off my desk and the right ear no longer worked, I have some in ear buds but they always fall out and can get uncomfortable, so I was looking for a new but affordable pair of headphones and decided to try these out. I like that they rest on my ears with no headband, I barely notice that I'm wearing them. The sound quality isn't mind bending but it's good for everyday use. I like that they look very 2000s in style, and I bought some yellow replacement foam from Koss, which I reccomend, since you can personalize them a bit more and the replacement foam seems to be a bit smoother/softer than the foam that comes with the headphones. My one complaint is that I wish the cable was a bit higher quality and a little longer, but it's not a deal breaker by any means.

Hope that helps :-)

Very nice, open sound! Cable quality is a little cheap and the padding is very thin and whatever, but the drivers themselves give a very crisp sound, and the open audio gives a ton of depth to music. I can see why these headphones are highly recommended as a cheap starter set for people looking into high quality audio. I just wish the shipping wasn't so annoying to get into Canada, but otherwise I'm extremely happy with these.
