Happy Cat, happy owners
Happy Cat and owner. We have a Flame Point Himalayan cat with an extreme face (flat). His eyes run like crazy which required daily cleaning. We had ordered and used the small size of the Eye Envy powder several years ago on a different cat. Our prior cats eyes didn't run like our present one and only needed occasional cleaning. While the Eye Envy powder worked, we stopped using it when we ran out because he wasn't having any problems and the EE liquid alone, or other brand wipes, worked well enough. Our current cats eyes were tearing so much and the crust formed so quickly, we almost couldn't keep up with it. Half the time he kept his left eye 1/2 closed. I was using another eye wipe product which worked to clean them up but did nothing to limit the tearing. We had used the Eye Envy (refrigerated) in the past and it helped a bit but still required daily cleaning. We decided to try the Eye Envy NR and went ahead and ordered the powder again to try. I'm kicking myself now for not doing so years ago. I really cant believe how well it's working. We received it about 2 weeks ago and it's literally made all the difference in the world. As much tearing that he did, stains weren't really a problem so I can't comment on how it does with stains. But in terms of limiting tearing and keeping his eyes clean and free of that reddish brown crust, it's working fantastic. I'm now experimenting with how long we can go between cleanings. It looks like 2X per week would keep up with it pretty well. But I'm finding that his eyes stay dry and pretty much spotless for 2 days after application. So, we can't "get away with" 1X per week as suggested on the Eye Envy site. Looks like every 2-3 days would be ideal. At that interval, it's an easy, gentle wipe with the EE liquid and then a little of the powder applied using a small, soft makeup brush that my wife donated. The entire process takes all of a couple of minutes. We are extremely pleased with this product. Our Himi's eyes look better than ever and his left eye, which always bothered him, hasn't since we first started using the product. He's definitely more comfortable. Amazing stuff and the 4 oz powder will probably last for years.

You have to clean dog eye every day first before apply the powder where it stains.
I first purchased this product as a set of three items at the beginning of last year: wipes, a cleaning solution, and a powder. I initially thought the cleaning solution would be the key to removing my dog’s eye stains, but it didn’t work for us, so I stopped using it. I did use some of the powder, though. Then, early last summer, I decided to try the powder again and used it consistently for almost two months. It actually helped reduce my dog’s eye stains. Because of that, I would recommend this product.

Amazing Product!!
I am so glad I found this stuff!!! My papipoo doesn't suffer from tear staining, but he seems to always have tears and with his face being constantly wet, it starts to stink and smell musty. I have tried constantly drying his tears, no-rinse facial shampoo, eye wipes, and eye solution on a cotton round. While those things have helped a bit, they don't ever get rid of the smell and don't keep his face dry. This stuff does!! Since using it, his face hasn't smelled musty at all! I still use the other products I mentioned above to clean his face, but now I finish the grooming session by brushing this powder onto his face/through his fur and now he has a dry, non-stinky face!! I will definitely continue to use this product and recommend it to others.

IT WORKS!
Guys, this really works! I saw an improvement in about a week. My Boston had very stained fur that I could improve by wiping him daily. Love this stuff!

Best products you can find
Eye Envy is the only thing that works but you have to work on stained eyes daily. I am down to cleaning and powder daily. His eyes look great.

Nah, skip it
Not a great fan. It didn't help prevent dog eye stains nor clear them. I still see gunk in my dog's eye

Theodore approved!
I recently bought the Eye Envy Tear Stain Remover Powder along with their wipes, mainly to help my Frenchie, Theodore, and to keep my new white-faced pup eyes from staining. So far, I can’t really say if it would be effective on really dark stains, as I haven’t had to deal with those yet. However, I’m still figuring out the best way to use the powder on baby boy, who tends to be a bit squirmy during the process. It can be a bit challenging to apply, but I’m sure with a bit more practice, it’ll get easier. Despite the bottle being quite small, I’ve noticed that a little bit of the product goes a long way. I can definitely see this lasting me quite a while, which is a plus. Since I’m using both the powder and the wipes from the same brand, I can’t definitively say how effective each one is on its own. However, as a combination, they seem to be working pretty well on our staining issues. I’m still not sure how they would handle really dark stains, but for preventing and managing the lighter ones, they’re doing a great job. Another great thing about this product is that it doesn’t seem to sting his eyes or cause him any discomfort, which is a huge relief. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit tricky to apply, but that might just be because he isn’t a fan of having his eyes wiped and then having the powder put on afterward. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to other pet owners dealing with similar issues.
