User manual is very easy to follow and even a 5 year old can assemble this. Doesn't take more than 10minutes and fits up to 25 pairs of shoes but if big shoes, up to 20 pairs. Still worth the investment cuz the lightweight metal rod stand means that if you get mud on the shoe rack, it's very easy to wipe off. There is large enough vertical gap between each shelf so don't worry about boots not fitting in the shelf.

The product is sturdy and fairly easy to assemble without tools. However, you need a bit of 'force' to put the poles into the plastic ends -so someone without much strength may need something over the end of the pole (a book, for example) to push it down into the plastic end.

It was fairly easy to assemble, although sometimes I had to use quite a lot of force. Instructions weren't needed. It is very light, and the easy assembly means it can be moved around easily. However, when carrying it to a new place, it might separate, and the connections might need to be re-established. Overall good. It is sturdy enough once it stands and easily holds 20 pairs of shoes, including heavier boots.

Avoid - awful product. One of rods broke after 3 months and we did not overload. When contacted the seller they said they would send replacements for £7 !! - not prepared to throw good money after bad so declined. Will not be using them again.
