Great hat I have some US Army combat patch , US Paratrooper patch, Rigger, and Belgium airborne wings patch, to be sewn on it. That is going to look COMBAT AIRBORNE SHARP. HUA!!! AATW!!!!!

Bought this for my husband he absolutely loves it. It works perfect for the beach get it wet in the water doesn’t matter wash It and let it air dry fits it perfect it’s very durable pretty lightweight. I love the appearance with the American flag as our son is in the army. The shape after it gets wet comes right back. Sun protection is great. He absolutely loves this hat wears it all the time.

I have concerns with “one size fits all” hats. This one fits my 7 3/4 (24 3/8 inch, 62cm) head very comfortably, although going up in head size it will start to feel tighter I think; also, I keep a crew cut, so a lot of hair may fill this out also. Not sure if it’ll sink on a smaller head. Hopefully sizing is consistent (couldn’t tell from other reviews). Material is good, seems like it will handle a hot sunny day comfortably. All other aspects are standard boonie. Webbing at crown is on the tighter side (use to looser webbing) but that doesn’t affect sizing.

This was a gift to my father in-law first thing he told me was the brim was very well made the hat was put together in two parts he likes the was the brim holds it self up all the way around the hat and that the top stays up. He is a Vietnam veteran he needed a had with a big brim to keep the sun off his nose. He is very picky about his hats he has a lot of them made it’s got to be right or he will not use it he like that about everything he where’s . I believe it’s from his drill sargent days. The snap on it work well hold well . The American flag looks very nice. I was a little bit worried but he called me and told me this was a fine had. He one that would have no problem asking you how do we send it back. So if your looking for a well built hat this one is it he explained to me why it was important that the hat be two different parts he said if it was just one it wouldn’t hold the brim up and the top of the hat would bow down on top and if he snapped one side it would not be able to keep it’s shape . This hat would have deserved 5 stars. But it smells so awful that I just can’t ignore it! It’s made extremely well, especially given the reasonable price I paid for it! But wow, it just smells really terrible. And it’s not a chemical smell. That, I could probably handle. This smells like someone’s dirty socks or something. It’s bad. But because I planned to use it for yard work, I’m keeping it and hoping that the smell will dissipate eventually. Plus, I sprayed it with Clorox fabric spray. Hopefully that’ll help. It’s a good hat otherwise.

I know it’s just a Hat but hear me out. I’m new to hunting and I often go out with all my gear and I see how the day goes. Then I come back and figure out what I want to change or what else I need, based on how the day went. I recently went out, came back and knew I needed a hat. But which one ?? So many options !! I ended up after reading so many reviews on so many hats, I picked this one. It came yesterday and again, it’s just a hat, but for me it’s exactly what I needed in my gear. Perfect for, four tiny mesh covered vent holes for circulation, buttons to hold the sides up, even lashing points at the base of the hat you could attach stuff to, like fishing hooks or a small bit of paracord. I love this hat.
